M - guys?
What the hell. What happened? Where am I? Where did everything go?
M - guys?.................Guys!?
Shit, shit, shit! I started breathing heavily. I tried to remember what happened. All I could remember was the book. Did the book do this?
As I tried to figure out what was going on, I heard the sound of people laughing, playing chips dropped, I heard, Cuphead.
C - Mugsy, come on, Momma said to never come here.
M - oh come on. Just a little fun.
I saw younger me run into, the Casino! Shit no, not this memory, no no no! He was only 7! Cuphead looked distressed.

Damn it, I should have listened to you!

Cuphead followed me into the bustling casino, passing the guards. I saw the glimmer in my eyes at all the games. I ran off again as Cuphead caught up, running after him again.
C - w-wait!
I followed them to a couple slot machines, watching younger me put in a few coins. I pulled the lever down and won.
M - yeah! Again! Haha!
C - Mugman, c-can we go-o, please.
M - just a little longer.
My heart wrenched as I saw his hurt eyes. After a few more rounds, I dragged Cuphead to a few games. After a bit, we got to a Craps Table.

Shit, this looks too familiar.

M - heya guys, can we join?
Random person - how old are you?
M - old enough.
Rp - come one man, let him play. He'll learn.
Mugman got some chips and began playing, quickly catching on.

No, just stop! Don't put Cuphead at risk! No!

After a while I was on a winning streak, looking all proud.
C - h-hey, Mugs can we go, n-now. It's getting late.
M - just a little longer. I'm about to win.
King Dice - my, my, you're on a winning streak!
M - yeah I am!
KD - I don't think you boys can lose.
M - meh. Cuphead isn't playing. He a scaredy cat.
Cuphead shrunk down in fear.
Devil - then how about we raise the stakes, hm?
You would think as a child the Devil himself would scare me.
You'd be wrong.
M - what's on the line?
The Devil chuckled darkly. He grabbed the dice and raised them in his hand.
D - if you win, you can have all the loot in my casino.
M - but?
D - if you lose, I'll have your souls.
I saw a hint of worry in my eyes. Cuphead was trying to drag me away but in the end, I agreed. The Devil gave a toothy grin as he handed me the dice. I shook them violently as he let them roll on the table. Cuphead looked on in fear.
D - Snake Eyes!
C - Mugman!
Cuphead had worry and fear in his eyes. But I slowly saw anger as well.
M - w-wait, n-now, p-please sir. Don't take our souls!
D - a deal is a deal.
M - ple-please! We'll do anything!
C - just don't hurt us.
I shrunk in fear and Cuphead began to cry as the Devil came to a conclusion.
D - alright. I have some run away debtors. Collect their soul contracts, bring them back to me, and you'll keep your souls.
C - but we don't want to hurt our friends.
D - lose your souls or keep them! Now get out!
With that, the Devil kicked us out, shutting the door. It started to rain, getting stronger every few seconds. I took a little to get back up due to the impact. Cuphead started running away.
M - W-wait! 'groan' Cuphead wait!
C - why should I? You dragged me to a place of evil, ignored my constant pleas to leave, and have put our souls at risk!
M - Cuphead. Please, I can change this around. I promise!
C - I don't care!
I WISH YOU WERE NEVER MY BROTHER!!!
Pain struck through both younger me and myself. Cuphead ran away as tears filled his eyes. I fell to the ground crying buckets.
M - no no no no! NO! Please come back! Please! This wasn't supposed to happen! Please come back I'm sure I can still fix this! This wasn't supposed to happen!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

M - Im so sorry Cuphead. That wasn't supposed to happen!
I started crying, feeling massive ways of guilt wash over me again. I dropped to the ground.
M - I'm sorry!
Bo - oh my god, Mugman are you okay?!
I didn't respond, I only cried, muttering 'im sorry' while clutching the book.
Be - dude, what happened?
F - guys, give him some space. He saw something. He'll tell us if he feels like it.
