(Requested by @readingatnighttt. Enid is upset over Ajax and Wednesday's patience is getting thin. I did way too many Google searches for this lmao. SFW.)

"I am literally having a heart attack right now!" Enid was pacing around the room tears threatening to stroll down her cheeks. Wednesday finished a paragraph on her novel, pushed the platen knob back on her typewriter, and turned to look at the poor girl. "Ajax blew me off again! This is the third time this week!" Wednesday leaned down to open and reach into a drawer, pulling out a nail gun. "What are you doing?!"

"He broke your heart. I'm nail gunning his, remember?" Wednesday stood up as Thing jumped onto her shoulder. "You remember which dorm room he's in?" Enid ran over to Wednesday frantically grabbing her wrist.

"What?! Wednesday no don't kill him!"

"Calm yourself. Every year only 37,000 people are sent to ER in relation to nail gun injuries. It would just rough him up a little." Enid took the nail gun from Wednesday's hand and set it on her desk, letting go of her wrist in the process.

"Rough him up? Wednesday it's literally a gun!"

"Would you rather I humiliate him? Mutilate?" Wednesday tilted her head at the speechless blonde, who could only shake her head.

"I'd rather he just talk to me and stop avoiding me every time we make plans."

"You want to stay with him?" Wednesday stepped closer to Enid, who had flinched at the tone drop. Wednesday's voice suddenly held a faint hint of anger Enid wasn't expecting. "This is the third time this week. You think him missing fifty-two dates in six months was a fluke?"

"You've been keeping track? I don't even remember telling you about all of them..." Enid felt confused for a moment as her mind swirled every thought of her speaking or seeing Wednesday around, trying to recall each moment with a similar situation. During the process Enid came across a few memories where she was just admiring Wednesday, which made her look at the small girl to do just that. Currently Wednesday was wearing her trademark black and white striped shirt with a slightly oversized black hoodie on top. Enid let her mind wander for a moment, briefly imagining herself wearing it because Wednesday had given it to her. Enid shook her head, desperately trying to get the thoughts out of her head, and refocused on reality. "It doesn't matter he still apologizes and makes up for it."

"Does he? Enid over half of the times he said he would make up were dates. All dates he should've attended in the last six months. That's roughly thirty percent out of all the days he could've made an effort."

"He's still trying! He'd break up with me by now if he wasn't interested! I mean like what if he stoned himself again, or got the timing wrong? M-maybe he got something on his outfit and had to change or he erm..." Right as Enid was starting to struggle to defend Ajax Wednesday reached out and grabbed her shirt, pulling the wolf down so she was close enough for Wednesday to plant a kiss on her lips. Enid's claws came out instinctively, yet she didn't move her hands to force Wednesday away from her. Wednesday broke the kiss off fairly quickly, since Enid wasn't kissing her back.

"You've already wasted over a year with this guy. Don't stay with him when he clearly isn't respecting you." Wednesday held her mouth open, wanting to say more, but she closed it and let go of Enid. Wednesday took a few steps back from Enid, turning her head away from the wolf, while Thing hopped off her shoulder. Enid was frozen in shock, widened eyes blinking as she tried to process what had just happened. Eventually she retracted her claws and brought a hand to her lips, still dazed in her own thoughts. As Wednesday went to go sit back down to pretend nothing happened, Thing flicked Enid's ankle. Startled, Enid broke from her mind fully and looked down at the appendage. Thing frantically pointed towards Wednesday, doing his best to urge Enid to talk to Wednesday. Enid looked back and forth from Thing and Wednesday, pondering whether or not to comply.

"Wednesday." The Addams stopped walking instantly, turning her head just enough so that Enid was aware she had her complete attention. "What was...why did you-"

"I was getting tired. Tired of watching you dress yourself up nearly every other day, looking absolutely stunning each time, only to come right back through that door crying your eyes out." Wednesday had let her head drop as she spat out each word, lifting her hand to point toward the door in correspondence to her words. "I've witnessed you waste so many hours waiting for him to text you when he couldn't be bothered. It's been absolute torture to keep quiet, especially when he was around the first couple months." Wednesday turned back around towards Enid, attempting to look at her directly, but she still looked down. "Before you were with Ajax and I...Tyler, I suspected that I might've grown more attached to you than I'd like. By the time I came to terms with it you were already with Ajax, so I tried to drown out my feelings for you by forcing them onto Tyler." Wednesday hesitantly looked at Enid, finally making eye contact.

"Y-you're being serious? You've had a crush on me? Wednesday..." Enid's face softened, unsure what to do with the new information.

"Look Enid, I'm completely fine with you rejecting me. Just please break up with Ajax. I can't just sit around watching you get hurt. I love you way too much to do that." Enid felt her heart race at Wednesday's words. Love. Hearing it said aloud, Enid questioned whether she ever felt that for Ajax. They never said it while they were together, and Enid never even thought about saying it. As for Wednesday she contemplated saying it every time she saw her enter or leave a room. She wanted to make sure Wednesday felt loved as much as possible, yet she never questioned why she felt so strongly to do so. Until now at least. Enid looked at the shorter girl standing in front of her, glaring at her with a painfully desperate look in her eyes. "Enid say something. Please anythi-" Before Wednesday could continue speaking Enid had run up to her, gently pulled her close, and kissed her. Wednesday slowly wrapped her arms around Enid's neck pulling the two closer, while Enid rested her hands on Wednesday's waist. As the two pulled away Enid lifted her hand to cup Wednesday's cheek.

"I love you too." Wednesday smirked as she tilted her head into Enid's touch.

"You mean that?" Enid nodded as she pulled Wednesday into a hug. They stayed like that for a few minutes, comfortably holding each other. Suddenly a knock on the large window caught their attention.

"Hey Enid!" Ajax waved at Enid, making her heart sink. She didn't expect to have to deal with him so soon. Enid slowly let go of Wednesday, who nodded and turned to sit down and work on her novel. Enid walked over to the window and opened the swiveled bottom, allowing Ajax in. Enid closed the window and looked at Ajax, who was smiling obliviously. "Hey I got you these." Ajax lifted his hand from behind his back revealing a bouquet of flowers.

"Is that supposed to make me feel better?" Ajax's smile faltered as it became one of panic. "Do you know how many times you've done this?"

"What do you mean..?" Enid raised her arm, claws coming out, immediately wanting to slap Ajax. The gorgon stepped back, confused. "Enid did I do something wrong?"

"Do something wrong? Are you joking, Ajax?! We've been together just over a year and you've barely even tried to keep us together!" Enid took a step forward, poking Ajax in the chest as he tried stepping back. "I thought you were just a bit of an airhead here and there but this is ridiculous!" Ajax carefully grabbed Enid's hand, slowly intertwining their fingers to distract her.

"Look Enid, I'm sorry I'll take yo—" Enid pulled her hand away from Ajax's grasp and clawed his face before he could react.

"Don't touch me, Ajax! We're done, go!" Ajax dropped the flowers and frantically touched his face to check the scratch. His face was overwhelmed in fear as he quickly ran out of their dorm, hitting his head on the window on the way out.

"Well that was certainly fun to watch." Wednesday stood up from her seat and walked over to Enid, moving her hand to grab Enid's. "Just give me the word and I'll give him something much worse than a scratch." Enid chuckled and turned to look at Wednesday.

"I know you will." Enid kissed the top of Wednesday's forehead, catching Wednesday's blush form across her cheeks, making her smile.
