3 weeks later

Chan and Changbin had worked on the project every day for a few weeks and it was looking good.

The two had to work together again today to work on the finishing touches and the appearance of their presentation.

The weather was cloudy and predicted to have a thunderstorm. Great vibe for working on a project (idk about y'all but I love thunderstorms)

The two went through their day bickering and whatnot as usual.

Soon the day ended and Changbin and Chan started walking to Chan's house. Chan noticed that Changbin seemed tense.

"Hey, you okay? You seem tense" Chan questioned

"Uh - Yeah I'm fine" Changbin responded hesitantly

Chan just thought something had happened at school so he pushed it aside for the time being.

It wasn't until the thunder started rumbling Chan noticed something was definitely wrong.

Changbin had jumped at every sound of lightning.

"Changbin are you sure your okay" Chan questions more serious this time

"I told you im okay. I should probably head home"

"Okay ill drive you back"

Chan dropped Changbin off at his house trying to figure out what was wrong (clueless bitch😔) when he got a text from Changbin.

Soon Chan arrived at Changbins house with the hoodie and knocked at his door

knock knock

Slowly the door creaked open and Chan saw Changbin sitting on the floor crying

Chan immediately dropped to the ground and started comforting the boy.

"Hey hey Changbin what's wrong"

"Noth-" He got cut off by the sound of the thunderstorm making him jump and cover his ears

Finally putting all the pieces together Chan finally realized it:
Changbin was afraid of Thunder

"Changbin, are you scared of thunder?" Chan asks

Changbin silently nods

"Mm, I see. I won't tell anyone. But ill stay here with you"

Changbins eyes widen
"y-you don't have to"

"yeah, but im gonna anyway. Here get up."

Handing Changbin his hand the younger boy got up and walked over to the couch with Chan

"Here try to sleep. lay your head in my lap" Chan said

Changbin did as told and layed down. Though every sound of lighting the boy still jumped.

"Changbin it's okay just relax," Chan said while starting to trace circles on the boy's back to calm him

Sooner or later Changbin managed to fall asleep. His hair was covering his face so Chan pushed it out of the way just to end up staring at his face.

Since when was Changbin so pretty

Am I starting not to hate him?

Chan thought

"No Chan. You guys are enemies. that's what you'll always be" Chan said to himself
