"If you will follow me this way Stahara." Jimmy said. Stahara followed Jimmy with Dolores right behind her. The three entered a small chamber of sorts. "Really Jimmy?" Stahara asked in a very not so impressed voice. "Sorry but it is protocol." Jimmy explained. With that Jimmy left the girls alone to talk. "Ok, umm... few questions... first what are the forest trials?" Dolores asked. "The forest trails are three difficult tests of sorts. The original purpose of the trials were to train new warrior elves. Only half of the elves that went in would come out alive. They are always sent in as a team but from what I know I'm going in alone."
Stahara explained. "WHAT, NO YOU ARE NOT DOING THIS." Dolores yelled while covering her ears. "I have too. We need to get out of here and we need to get your father back." Stahara urged. "Your not dying for this." Dolores said firmly. "I already made the choice. There is not turning back. Now, they won't let me out but they will let you out since you are not going in the ring. Please go back to Casita. The trials are used as a form of entertainment, of course they haven't been used for a while but if I know anything from the old accounts the leaders of all the clans will be invited. That includes the Madrigals or as we call them the big six. Alma, Felix, Julieta, Pepa, Bruno and Agustin. But you need to get going.
I will hopefully see you later." Stahara said with a little sorrow in her voice. Dolores hugged Stahara before exiting, looking back over her shoulder to see Stahara giving her a reassuring look. After Dolores had left Jimmy walked back in. "So, you excited? Your going back in." Jimmy said sarcastically. "You know the answer to that." Stahara snapped back. "Why are you so worried? You've beat this before." Jimmy wondered.
Stahara let out a sigh. "First off, I barley made it out the first time. Second, that barley victory over the trials was not without loss." Stahara clarified. "What happened?" Jimmy asked with curiosity. "What concern of it is yours?" Stahara asked, hatred laced in her voice. "I was just wondering." Jimmy defended. "Fine. Your father knew my mother, that's how we knew each other. Well, I discovered a few years ago I was put in the trails as a peace offering. I wasn't supposed to make it out alive—." Stahara started to explain.
"Like a sacrifice!" Jimmy interrupted. Stahara shot Jimmy a quick glare. Man if looks could kill. "Sorry" Jimmy apologized. "As I was saying, I was sent in. I believe it was the second trial, I don't know what happened but my mother died protecting me. I shouldn't have made it out alive. After that they pulled me out and the peace treaty that was to be signed after was torn apart.
They wiped my memory and I was put under the protection of the witch I'm suppose to call mother. And, I guess after I found out how terrible Hera truly was, I started to rebel. If she wanted to make my life hell, then I would repay that ten fold." Stahara finished her story. "So how did you rebel?" Jimmy asked. "I ran away, sabotaged most of her plans and parties and I took one the symbol of a pickle." Stahara said. "Why a pickle of all things?" Jimmy questioned. "I was 8 in human years ok." Stahara defended. "Ok then."
