Enid's POV

"But Yoko, seriously!" I squeal, kicking my feet.

"You're acting like a kid, I'm not giving it to you." She rolls her eyes, taking another sip of her drink.

"Ugh, you suck."

Yoko lets out a small laugh, placing her drink on the table.

I slumped my back, sliding down the booth seat.

"You're are weirdo sometimes, Enid." The girl pulled out her phone and started scrolling on TikTok.

I pulled myself up and spotted my goth roommate across the café.

A smile appeared on my face, just as I went to get up Xavier sat down next to Wednesday.

"Hm.." I thought, sitting back down next to Yoko.

About 10 minutes pass.

"Enid? Enid.. Enid!? Earth to Enid!"

Huh?

"Oh, sorry." I looked at Yoko waving in my face.

"Why are you staring at Wednesday like she kidnapped your family." She spoke, raising an eyebrow and crossing her legs.

"I- what? First of all I'm staring at Xavier and second what kind of metaphor is that?"

My eyebrows furrowed in confused.

"I don't know but the way you're looking at him makes me think he did something to you."

I rolled my eyes and looked back at Wednesday and Xavier..

Why is he with her? She said she DOESNT like him.

Does she like him?

Did she lie? Does he like her?

Hes looking at her weird.

I clenched my hands together and grid my teeth.

Sudden anger filled my mind, "I need to go, bye."

Yoko looked at me weird but waved goodbye.

I run to my dorm and slam the door.

Why was I so angry?

I don't like Xavier..

Wait.. no- no I don't like Wednesday? I don't like girls.

I jump on my bed, screaming into my pillow.
