"Wake up Red!!"
I open my eyes, my brother was shaking my body to wake me up.
"Hurngggh... 5 minutes..."
"No more five minutes for you. I've given you way too much chances."
I groan and start making my way to the bathroom. Before i get in, i hear a chuckle behind me.
"Waking you up was a challenge huh?"

My name is Red! My brother is Dark. It's a weird name, i know. Even though his red hair shade is lighter than mine.
(Parents flasback goes wooshh)
"So, when he comes out, what are you gonna name him? " Rose asked Maroon (her husband)
"Hm... I'm gonna name him Dark! "
"And.. If he turns out to be light red? "
"..... I'll still call him Dark! "
(Flashback ends yay)
Also, I just turned 8! My birthday was yesterday, it was amazing! Everyone was there, my family, my friends and Reuben! My pet pig.
I just woke up from my dream beacause of course.. my brother woke me up. I was so mad beacause i was having a good dream about reuben and me playing in the backyard. But i guess we can always do that whenever we want.
I finish showering and go downstairs where i could smell the aroma of sweet food. Mom must've cooked pancakes for breakfast! I run down the stairs to see my brother eating pancakes.
"You were too late. I ate almost all of them" he gave me a smug.
"Hey!! Not fair!!"
My mom comes with a plate full of pancakes. She chuckled.
"Don't worry red, i made some more."
"Yeay!"

Yeah, that's it for chapter one. This is just the beginning of this book so chapter just has the tiny bits of memories left in the characters.
Also, i don't really have a good plot for this story so, don't get your expectations high :')
