chapter 40

Dozer pov

The moment I woke up I was in a somewhat white but Sky Blue Room I looked at my hands they were bandaged up and then my leg it was somewhat connected again but about to put on the ground it started hurting and then I noticed a guy wearing sitting on a chair reading book wearing a red and white flannel shirt with green glasses

Dozer: who are you?

Hero: my name is hero cookie

Dozer: oh well hello hero cookie may I ask why are you in my room for?

Hero: oh the reason I'm in your room is waiting for you to wake up I'm technically now you're older brother now

Dozer: and where is gingerbrave I just see another bed next to me knowing him he must have run off

The tired child looked onto the ground as hero tilt his head in confusion as he starts to get up from his chair

Hero: he didn't run off he healed kind of even though his arm was hurt but he's fine now even though you guys are technically twins so I can see there are some differences between you guys and he's just getting ready for the end of the War Ceremony

Dozer: I guess that makes sense

Hero: but knowing him he's probably with mom

Dozer: wait so I got adopted

Hero: yeah of course I mean you're technically a child it would be weird if a child just lived by themselves you know

Dozer: I guess that makes sense but where am I

Hero: you're in the vanilla Kingdom you and your brother were at a small Medical Center to get healed a bit but then send over here

Dozer quickly got off his bed as he looks at his new brother with a surprised face as he holds on to the wall to keep his balance

Dozer: how many days I've been sleeping for!?

Hero: first off calm down you've been sleeping for 2 days it's not that bad, especially with your wound

Dozer cookie calms down a bit as he sits on the chair as hero cookie gives him some clothes he can wear

Dozer: okay then but may I ask what happened to dark enchantress?

Hero: are you talking about a white-haired lady she came to visit you on the first day you came over here but her name isn't dark enchantress it's white lily

Dozer: so that means the war is technically over no more fighting

Hero: I have said that earlier but yeah the war is over you should definitely get changed the ceremony is about to start

Dozer: okay then

Hero walked out the door as dozer starts to change his clothes seeing that hero gave him a white button-up shirt with a dark blue blazer to go over with and dark blue pants to go with it I see grab some crutches to keep his balance as he opens the door and follows here outside seeing people decorate for the celebration and celebrating

Dozer: ( I have no idea what to feel right now I mean it's kind of nice to work and did but still)

Hero: so are you hungry you were in the hospital sleeping

Dozer: no I'm fine can I meet my new parent first and gingerbrave

Hero: that's fine

Once they got to where the ceremony was taking place gingerbrave and brown hair that had a ponytail in a somewhat twist were waiting for them as gingerbrave hugged him with the one arm that actually works

Gingerbrave: I thought you never woke up so have you checked out the vanilla Kingdom yet it's amazing right it's surprising how fast it changes

Dozer: no not yet

Gingerbrave: oh I almost forgot this is uh croissant cookie she's going to be our new mom she told me about where she works in this amazing

Even though gingerbrave was older he acted like a small child joyfully happy that his brother was with him again as dozer tries to be happy at the same time as dozer gets off of gingerbrave

Croissant: my name is croissant cookie I'll make sure I protect you and keep you safe aww you look so cute in that suit

Croissant is about to pet dozer's head but dozer cookie quickly backed off away from her as gingerbrave walks over to check on him

Gingerbrave: is everything alright

Dozer: yeah I'm fine don't worry you should be getting ready for the ceremony

Dozer gave his older brother a comforting Smile as he puts his hand on his brother's shoulder as all of them go inside for the ceremony to start

(Time skip)

The moment the ceremony was over which I went to sleep though most of it went we got outside everyone was going to a bar and drinking the night away. I looked to my left seeing  my brother hugging his friends goodbye God I feel so tired right now  even though I was sleeping for 2 day

Hero: come on dozer we are about to leave

Dozer:oh ok then

I get up from the bench I was sitting as I follow  hero to get my brother and get to a train station where my new mother was waiting at

Croissant: I was wondering where you were at

Hero: we were waiting for gingerbrave  to be done saying goodbye to his friends

Gingerbrave: sorry about that

All of a sudden someone comes rushes over to dozer and hugs him as dozer feels familiar with this

White lily: am so happy you're doing well Dozer

Dozer: oh hey white lily?
White lily: I know it's weird how I look now I understand that

Dozer: yeah it's very weird to me

White lily: I wanted to give you my number and take a picture  so you can remember  this moment  and call me if  you  need someone to talk to

White lily gives a piece of paper with her number as croissant cookie takes out a camera. white lily slowly bring dozer to a wall near the train  as they take a  picture  which dozer had a straight face as white lily gave a soft smile

Dozer: well I need to get going by Grandma

White lily: bye dozer I will come next year to see you have a good life till then

After they were done taking the picture dozer went into the train station where his new family is waiting for him as they go onto the train

Dozer: ( I wonder if am going to make new friends)
