come thru by summer walker played on the alexa that sat on Aria's kitchen counter. Ari swayed side to side as she sung the lyrics softly, flipping over the egg that fried in the skillet.
Aria would say they were just chilling. she wasn't looking for a relationship at all. it had been 2 weeks since the party and Yelena was over often. Yelena was a nice person and was very sweet but Aria didn't feel anything. it had only been two weeks so she just shrugged it off.
Ari felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. sliding it out her pajama pants pocket, she unlocked it to see Connie texting her.

"he's your ex and he's over here texting you like you're his booty call or something."
Ari chuckled, sliding the egg off the skillet onto a plate with one already stacked on there. "me and Con are friends Lena. that was in the past. you're reaching."
"then ask him what he wants." Yelena said.
Aria scoffed, throwing her arms from around herself. "look Yelena you're not about to treat me like you're my bitch. i'm single and you know this. we're just coolin it, remember?"
Yelena followed her. "so am i just pussy to you? someone to just fuck for the time being? i want something with you Aria! something serious!"
Ari stopped in her tracks. "you sound fucking delusional. we've been talking for 2 weeks Yelena! of course i'm not gonna be head over heels for you."
Yelena wrapped her arms around her waist. "just... just don't treat me like i'm a hoe, Ari. because that's what it's giving. i feel something for you and i want you to end up feeling the same."
"you have to give me time Yelena. look i have relationship trauma, you should know this. it's not like i still love Con but i can't just hop into something serious yet. you don't have to worry about him either, he's nothing like that. ok?"

Connie sat in the studio, a beat playing in the back. he nodded his head softly, thinking of what words to say. he had texted Aria an hour ago but she didn't answer.
