"AWH YEAH! MK IN THE HOUSE!" Mei announced as Mk walked into the noodle shop. He almost looked relieved to she her as he dropped his staff on the floor and launched himself into her arms.
"MK?" On instinct she wrapped her arms around him and held him close. Something about it shook her to the core. She sat on the floor bringing him with her. "It's okay, Mk. I got you."
She knew it would break him, she knew he would cry, but she didn't expect all that came next. Mk froze the moment those words came out of her mouth. Mei watched as tears threatened to come down his face and how he held her a bit tighter. She looked at the two at the counter who just looked at her with about the same expression she had.
"Mk, you okay kid?" Pigsy asked, while moving around the bar. He just laid there, his hand flexing on her jumper. Mei just sighed, thinking of a small child as he did this.
"Come on Mk, lets go upstairs," She said as she picked him up.
