Shockwave is working quietly on his newest project. As he works he hears a loud noise, it's somewhat muffled but he can't make out what is being said. Wondering what it is, he gets up to investigate.
He gets to the room and the door starts to open in which he's immediately slammed with noise.
"CALIFORNIA GIRLS WE'RE UNFORGETTABLE! DAISY DUKES, BIKINIS ON TOP!" The Vehicons and Starscream and Knockout scream/sing the lyrics as they are listening to "California Girls.
Shockwave's antenna shoot up with shock and he immediately leaves. Not sure what to make of what he just saw, "What did I just witness?" He thinks to himself.
