"who can tell what piggy's death symbolize in the novel?" ms.brooklyn asked the group of students
multiple hands of students went up from the minor question that was asked, but ms.brooklyn eyes laid on one boy in particular, "jimin could you answer the question?"
jimin eye slowly open, hearing his name get called. he was asleep during the whole novel being read, including half way though discussion until his teacher had call his name
"what question?" he scoffed
ms.brooklyn sighed, "'what did piggy's death symbolize in the novel?"
"who the fuck names their kid piggy?" jimin raised an eyebrow, a few girls giggled hearing the heartthrob of their school give a foolish answer
"jimin may you stay on topic and please answer the question?" she glance over at the other side of the classroom
"bitch i don't know, cause jack taught the others that piggy was a piece of shit?"
students began bursting out of laughter by hearing jimin's choice of an answer
"jimin you're lucky i let this slide since it's the beginning of the week" ms.brooklyn turned her attention towards rest of the class, "could someone explain what this certain death symbolized?"
students quickly raised their hands, ms.brooklyn looked around the room, trying to pick a student who she tends not to pick on

you look up from the novel, noticing the class had their full attention towards you
"uh.." you stutter, trying to think on the spot of an relevant answer, "piggy's death signifies the end of ralph's fragile troop, and a victory by the forces of violence and brutality over the forces of wisdom, kindness, and civility?"
"well done y/n" ms.brooklyn formed a smile on her face
jimin mumbled under his breath, "show off"
"before we end class, i know you guys had a project halfway though the novel. but i'll be assigning another one" ms.brooklyn announced as multiple students began groaning of hearing about another project
"but i understand the last project was done as individuals so i've decided to do it as a partner project"
girls soon looked over at jimin, hoping he would pick one of them. knowing he would give them a different project than the one assigned
