Link soon made it to Rito Village, where the Champion Revali used to live. Link was told to go find Teba so that he could defeat the monstrosity inside of Vah Medoh, a Divine Beast that had protected the clan long ago but had now taken a turn for the evil, circling the town menacingly.
Link agreed, and found Teba at the archery range. Teba agreed to let Link help him, but only if he could shoot all of the targets at the archery range. And so, Link shot them and they were on their merry way.
When they made it back to Rito Village, Link and Teba prepared to fight Vah Medoh. To take down the turrets that would fire lasers at someone if they got too close, Link stocked up on Bomb arrows just to be safe. After taking out the turrets with the help of Teba, Link readied himself to go into the Divine Beast.
He ran through the Divine Beast, dodging eyes in sticky malice, and spikes made of the same icky substance. He jumped through the Divine Beast and made it to the Map Terminal, which allowed him to control the tilt of the Divine Beast. At the same time, the voice of Revali, the former Rito Champion, rung in his head, making snarky comments about Link's ability to unlock each terminal to access the main terminal to fight the evil concealed within the Divine Beast. Once Link had unlocked all five terminals, he went to confront the main terminal. On his first try to open the terminal, he released a demon, a Blight, if you will, called Windblight Ganon. Link took down Windblight using the help from Revali's pointers and the updrafts around the giant metal bird Vah Medoh.
After Link had defeated the Blight, he unlocked the terminal easily, and met the spirit of Revali, who gifted him the use of his sacred power, Revali's Gale, which creates an updraft that is so powerful that it can lift Link into the air. Every time he uses three updrafts, he has to wait for a while before using any more.
Link left the Divine Beast after perhaps looking through it for some more valuable things, and was left at the base of Rito Village in a puff of bright relief. Then, he collected Revali's weapon, the Great Eagle Bow, from the village elder, who congratulated him. He was then on his way, to go where he must.
