When Link made it into the Sanctum where he had been knighted so long ago, Zelda's voice rang out to him like a bell, telling him that she couldn't hold Ganon anymore. Link readied his stance for what would be his final battle and drew the Master Sword.

Then, a beast ten times larger than Link emerged from a bulbous mass in the ceiling shaking and breaking through the ground as it fell to the floor of the sanctum. The Divine Beasts, who had been targeting and ready for this moment, fired their lasers at Calamity Ganon, weakening him significantly.

Then, Link stepped in and hacked away at the malice-filled beast, the pawn of Demise crippling slowly until it evolved into its second, stronger stage, who stood even less of a chance against the ever-courageous Link, who risked his life, but finally took down Ganon with an agonizing screech.

Then, Zelda did magic, and transported Link out of Hyrule Castle where he had been fighting and put him on a grassy field, where he collected a Bow of Light that drifted slowly from the heavens. He hopped on a nearby horse, and prepared to face the monstrosity before him that he hadn't noticed before: Dark Beast Ganon. Link started his horse at a trot and ushered it into a gallop as Dark Beast Ganon grew malicious eyes all over its body and opened them slowly, menacingly, only for Link, at Zelda's instruction, to shoot them, one by one, until the final eye opened on Dark Beast Ganon's forehead, bright, disgusting, revolting, frightening...

A sudden updraft carried Link into the sky, and he shot one last arrow from the Bow of Light into Dark Beast Ganon's brow, piercing his mind, body, and soul, and defeating him utterly.

Link landed back on his feet next to his trusty steed as Zelda descended from Ganon's corpse, finally released from her prison of malice that she had been holding back for 100 years.

She then asked Link: "Do you really remember me?"
