"Last Christmas, I gave you my heart, but the very next day, you gave it away..."

"What happened, Sid? Why are you singing sad songs?" Crash asks while walking towards the rock where sad sloth was seated on.

"Yeah, why are you singing that a day before Christmas?" His brother, Eddie joins in.

"Love! It is what I have wished for all these years! Every Christmas! But now, everyone has found it, except me! I keep wishing every Christmas and nothing happens!"

"Hmm... All we wish for is candy, and we always get it!" Eddie says.

"Yeah! Santa must really love us. He gives us what we want every time even when Ellie says we have behaved badly." Crash says.

What really happens:-

A mammoth slowly walks towards the beautiful Christmas tree and places down a basket of candy in different colours.

"Well, I wish that my brothers and Peaches were a little bit more thankful to me than to Santa. After all, I was the one who always gives them presents." The mammoth sighs and starts walking away.

"You both are so lucky... I never get what I want!"

"Maybe it's because you are always wanting the same thing. If you can't have what you want, try something else."

"Oh my gosh! Eddie, you sounded so wise!" Sid gasps.

"Either way, love is all I want! I don't need or want anything else!" He sighs.

"This year, to save me from tears, I'll give it to someone special..." He starts singing again.

Eddie looks at Crash. "Should we help Ellie decorate the Christmas tree?" Crash asks.

"Eh, why not?" Eddie shrugs. They both run towards the herd's hangout.
