"Good morning!" A voice wakes us up but, it is unusual to hear this voice so early in the morning...
I yawn and stand up, last night was tiring. We decorated the Christmas tree, made treats, and kept cookies and chocolate for 'Santa' (Me)

Last night, 10:30.
"Can you believe this, Manny? Diego ditched us and went to sleep early! Who would sleep early and not decorate the tree!" Sid complains to Manny in a sad voice.
"Stop it, you two. You know Diego has been busy guarding our territory, let him relax for a while." Ellie says as she packs all the food she made into leaves to save it for the next day.
"Still, we can't get over the fact that he chose to be with Shira over us, his age-old friends! Who saved his life!" Manny complains as he hangs a pretty icy snowflake on the tree.

"You're not telling me you're jealous of Shira, are you?" Ellie asks unbelievably.
"No, we are just- confused! Like how?! I never thought he would be like this! He became so soft!"
"Well, you wouldn't choose me over your friends?"
"... Um... Yeah- I would- but! Diego is different!"
Ellie gives him a 'really?" Face. "He's been working hard his whole life, let him relax a bit. They are inseparable. I'm glad he found her."
"Yeah...I guess I'm proud of him..." Manny smiles with so much happiness in his eyes.
"Okay, dad... Why are you acting like uncle Diego's father?" Peaches shatters the moment they were having into pieces.
"Umm... I'm not, go back to decorating the Christmas tree!" Manny says embarrassedly to his daughter.
They keep adding decorations one by one and finally finish the beautiful tree which lights up the dark night.
