I stared at the girl for a while, she was very familiar I was positive I new her too. But not how I new Thomas, I remember Thomas in a good way, for the mysterious girl I remembered her in a bad way and I don't know why.
Thomas walked into the med jacks hut and saw me standing by the girls bed.
"You alright?" He asks
"I know her," I say
"You do,"
"Yes but I don't at the same time," I could tell I was confusing him.
"I'm sorry I'm just very confused right now with alby and then the note and it's all just getting to my head," I say
"I understand," he says pulling me into a hug, I take in his sent and hug him as tightly as I can to hide my red cheeks.
Suddenly the girl springs to life, "were am i what's going on," she yells
"Woah it's alright calm done," Thomas says, she picks up an object on the side table of the bed and chucks it at Thomas, he doges it and I push her to the bed holding her down.
"He said calm down," I say
"What the hell is going on?" She asks
"I'll explain everything just calm down ok," she nods and sit up onto the bed while me and Thomas explain what's going on to her.
"These we're in my pockets when I came up," she says handing me two small tubes of blue liquid with the letters: WCKD on it.
"What if these can help alby," I say
"It's worth a try," Thomas replies
We get Newt, Minho and a few others to help us.
"What if it kills him," newt asks
"He's already dying," Thomas says
Newt sighs and I give Thomas the tube, he takes a deep breath and raises his arm to inject it into alby's arm. But before he does that alby springs to life and grabs Thomas down to him screaming, "you shouldn't be here!" I grab the tube of blue liquid and stab it into alby's shoulder, he relaxes and let's go of Thomas.
"You alright?" I ask and he nods
Suddenly Gally comes into the room with a lantern.
"Sun down greenie let's go," he says and I remember that Thomas has a night In the pit. He walks off with Gally and I look back a alby.
Later after everyone falls asleep I sit at my hammock collecting somethings, a blanket a lantern and a bag of food i stole from the kitchen earlier.
"Your gonna go see him aren't you," I here a familiar voice behind me, it was Minho.
"See who," I say
"Thomas, you really like him don't you," he asks
"I have no idea what your taking about Minho," I say he places a hand in my shoulder.
"Come on y/n we're best friends you can tell me anything," I look at him and smile.
"There is just something about him that I really like min, I know him more then anyone else and," I sigh but Minho gets the idea.
"I understand now go see your boyfriend," he says smiling, I laugh sarcastically and run over to the pit.
"Who's there?!" Thomas yells, I laugh a little at his fear.
"It's just me," I say laughing,
"Oh," he laughs, "what are you doing here," he asks as I set down the lantern
"To bust you out of jail," I say
"Wont we get caught," he asks smiling
"Nah," I laugh, "you really think I'm gonna let you into the maze on an empty stomach? No sir," I say opening the door and pulling him out.
"Oh thanks I'm starving," he says as I toss him the bag of food, "so where are we going?"
"Well there's this awesome spot under my favorite tree we can sit at," I suggest and he agrees.
"Sounds good to me!" Thomas says
Once we reach the large tree I sit down and Thomas sits close next to me, I pull the blanket over the two of us.
Me and Thomas talk for maybe two or three hours laughing and having fun, the more I talked to him the more happy I felt.
"So there's something I need to say," Thomas says, fear runs through my veins 'what if he tells me he doesn't like me back or what if he does like me back' I look at me feet.
"Yeah," I say
"Um, I-I,"
"It's okay Thomas tell me anything," I comfort him
"I really like you," he whispers but I only hear mumbles.
"W-what," I ask
"You make me feel different y/n a feeling that I don't know how to explain. When I'm around you I feel so happy and free and safe and I want t-" I interrupt him by pulling his face into mine causing our lips to meet, he pulls away after a few seconds.
"Yep, right, that's what I wanted to do," we laugh and passionately kiss for a little longer.
"Maybe you should get some sleep for tomorrow," I suggest.
"Right," he says
We walk back to the pit and I shut the door. Thomas holds onto the door and I sit down close to it.
"Now get some sleep shuck head," I say smiling.
"Yes ma'am," he says leaning up to kiss me again.
I walk off smiling, I felt Thomas's eyes on me as I left, I found my hammock and closed my eyes to fall asleep then a whispered voice says to me, "did you kiss him?" I knew it was Minho.
"Yes I'll tell you more in the morning," I say, Minho start jumping up and down.
"Ooooh, yes! yes! yes!" He says.
"Shhh your gonna wake up everyone," I say laughing
"Right sorry, yes!" He walks off and I close my eyes again smiling my way off to sleep land.
