Chapter 10

While I was walking outside I heard someone calling my name and footsteps coming my way, when I turned I faced Xavier, and he handed me a piece of paper 

Xavier: Your sister forgot that 

He said, and I got it quickly from his hands before I turned to leave, but he stopped me by taking my arm 

Xavier: You never thank me for saving your life 

He said, and I pulled my arm away before turning to face him 

Y/n: Do you want me to say it out loud?

Xavier: Oh absolutely 

He said with a smirk and I sighed

Y/n: You know that I would have preferred to die, but thank you 

I said, whispering the "Thank You" part 

Xavier: Sorry I didn't hear you 

Y/n: I said thank you 

This time I raised my voice for the "Thank You" part to be heard, and he smiled proudly 

Y/n: God you are annoying 

I said wearing my headphones and started walking away, but he appeared in front of me and signed to me to wear them off, and I did and crossed my arms 

Xavier: Wait, I didn't finish 

Y/n: What do you want me to do? Fell on my knees and kiss your feet because there is no way in hell I would do that 

I said, and his smirk grew wider 

Xavier: That's an interesting suggestion but no, I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to go to the Raven with me 

Is he serious? After what he did, he expects me that I want to go to the dance with him and follow him as a puppy! No freaking way, and also I wasn't even planning to go 

Y/n: No 

I said and his smile fainted 

Xavier: May I ask why? I thought we had something 

Y/n: Are you serious? Do you even remember what you said to me this morning? 

I said and he looked confused 

Xavier: What are you talking about? I don't remember us meeting before the Poe cup today 

Is he for real?

Y/n: I apologized for my idiotic reaction after you kissed me, and you denied that it happened saying you didn't remember it, you also said that you will never have kissed someone like me 

I said, and his eyes widened before he was able to say anything else, I talked first 

Y/n: You are dead to me 

I said, wearing my headphones and walking away from him, he didn't say anything, he just stood there looking at the floor. 

A few days passed, and I ignored him at all costs, he tried to talk to me multiple times and explain the situation, but I ignored him the best I could! Why the hell did I give love a chance? I knew that I will get hurt, but I still did, Wednesday is right! I show others that I am strong, but inside I am weak! I entered the communication room because a teacher told me that my mother wanted to talk to me! The communication room was a small room with a mirror in one of the walls, that mirror is called the Iris mirror, and it's a huge old dirty mirror since 1852! It belonged to the Queen of England in that period. I entered the room and my mother was already waiting for me on the other side of the glass, she had a gentle smile on her face 

Morticia: Wednesday sent me a letter that you weren't good emotionally these past few days, my little storm, and I wanted to talk to you! Talk to me darling, did someone break your, heart?

Y/n: No, I am fine 

I said and she smiled 

Morticia: I know the feeling of heartbroken Y/n, you know that you can talk to me 

Y/n: I really liked a boy, and we kissed, but the next day he pretend that we never did and that there is no way that he would kiss someone like me! Then a few days ago he asked me to the Raven as nothing happened 

I said and she smiled 

Morticia: Well, Y/n you are gifted with a really beautiful ability that you can use to find out the truth. You remember what I always told you 

Y/n: You don't know if someone is dead if you don't see their body 

Morticia: Which that means don't end up in conclusions that you don't know that they are, the truth 

She said and smiled, but I scoffed 

Y/n: There is no way I will enter his mind, mom 

Morticia: Are you scared of the truth?

She said and I nodded, looking at the floor 

Y/n: I am scared of what the truth will be 

I talked with my mother for a couple of minutes, but she still didn't convince me to enter his mind and find out the truth! When I left the room, Xavier was waiting outside 

Xavier: Y/n we need to talk 

Y/n: A liar and a stalker! Which one of those is the best characteristic for a boy to have?

I said with sarcasm and he scoffed 

Xavier: I asked Enid where were you because you have been ignoring me for days.

Y/n: Don't worry, I will make sure that they are months 

I said wore my headphones and walked away
