Chapter 17

I was really upset when Wednesday told me that Eugene was in a coma in the hospital! I didn't know him very well, but he was a really nice person in my opinion! Well, my sister was right on one thing I may show that I am strong but inside me, I am weak! Everyone can be weak sometimes even the strong ones, even the happiest and the richest person in the world can be weak and sad inside him! This is why everyone says don't judge a book by its cover, and it's true! A book with an outstanding cover can have the worst plot in the history of books! But today was Saturday, and it was a really special day because it was Parent's Weekend, and I was so excited to see mine! Unlike my sister, my parents and I have an amazing relationship! I was waiting for them in the yard and when they entered Pugsley came and hugged me as soon as he saw me, while my sister was nowhere to be found! 

Pugsley: Y/n, I missed you so much 

I said, and I hugged him back before letting him go, and then my mother hugged me and kissed my forehead and when we went to sit down she asked me about my life in Nevermore 

Y/n: Great 

I said, and my sister appeared out of nowhere 

Wednesday: I am surprised you didn't tell them about your relationship with the Thorpe boy 

She said while sitting and my mother looked amazed 

Morticia: You didn't tell me that you have a boyfriend, Y/n 

She said, and I looked at my sister with a death stare before I turn to my parents again

Y/n: Well-

I said but Xavier interrupted me by coming to our table, he told me yesterday that he wanted to meet my parents since they had such a huge legacy to the school, and he was dying to meet them 

Xavier: Morticia and Gomez Adams, nice to meet you! I am Xavier Thorpe Y/n's-

Morticia: Boyfriend

She said while standing up with a smile on her face and shook her hand with his, and she looked really happy, then my dad stood up and did the same 

Gomez: It is our pleasure to meet the boy who makes our little storm happy 

He said with a laugh and a huge smile on his face, and I looked at the floor full of embarrassment when they invited him to sit at our table! He came and sat next to me and my brother Pugsley started asking him multiple questions when he learned who his father was since my brother was a big fan, he was pretty excited to learn all the new information about his idol! Then Miss Weems went to the mic and asked for everyone's attention because she wanted to say a few words, after she finished I stood up to go to the table with the food as an excuse and Xavier followed me 

Xavier: I think that your family is pretty cool! I mean, I have heard a lot of good things about them, but they are definitely a lot more than that 

He said and I smiled 

Y/n: Well, I am happy that you don't want to kill yourself after having my brother ask you multiple questions for more than an hour 

Xavier: I actually really like him and I promised him that we will go fishing together if I have time 

He said, and I smiled, I was happy that he didn't find my family annoying! Then he kissed my forehead before going back to the table! Then Enid appeared out of the blue with a huge smile on her face!

Enid: He met your family and he was his idea! Y/n that's huge

Y/n: Well relax, it's nothing important 

Enid: Of course it is important, dummy, that shows that your relationship with him, it's serious and that means he really loves you 

She said and giggled before she left! Love? He loved me! I never really thought about it before. I never really thought about the idea of him loving me, and I have to say that it kinda feels good! I thought before going to sit at our table again

The same night, Weems called us to her office to talk about something and my mother was going through her old yearbook 

Morticia: Our old yearbook! I haven't led eyes in this for over 20 years. Such good times we had, didn't we, Larissa?

Weems: Some of us better than others 

Morticia: Oh, don't be so modist! You always filled the room with your presence 

She said with a huge smile on her face and then her eyes looked confused on something 

Morticia: Oh, my picture is missing! 

She said with a disappointed look but then smiled 

Morticia: I can't wait to see my girls into their yearbook 

She said, and I smiled looking at the floor while Wednesday had a look of disgust painted on her face!

Weems: I called you here because I talked with their therapist, and we find it a splendid idea for you to go tomorrow all together to their session 

She said, and my sister's eyes widened 

Wednesday: No 

She said with a loud voice, and we all turned to her 

Y/n: I don't think that is a bad idea 

I said, and she looked at me with a death stare 

Wednesday: It is an awful idea! There is no way 

She said, but then my mother talked 

Morticia: Well, I agree with Y/n 

Wednesday: Of course you do 

She said whispering and crossing her arms and I looked at her confused! What was wrong with her? It wasn't a bad idea for our parents to come with us to therapy  

Gomez: Well, we will do anything for our little death-traps
