Chapter 11

Y/n's POV

Big brother and I rushed towards him. "Y/n check on the kid!" Big brother shouted. I nodded as the two of them rushed off into the school. The kid that Junpei's jellyfish was holding fell to the stage as I crouched down next to him. The kid's skin was decaying before I checked to see if he was breathing before seeing that he wasn't. I closed the kid's eyes before rushing after big brother. When I caught up to big brother and Junpei, big brother punched Junpei's jellyfish, sending them out the window. "Big brother." I said, watching as he followed them. I panicked a little before following him. As we were falling towards the ground, Junpei's jellyfish had spikes coming out of its tentacles. It launched its tentacles with spikes at us, but we easily dodged the attack. Big brother landed on the roof before making a small shockwave with his cursed energy and strength. The roof shook as I landed on it standing behind big brother.

"Junpei , I really can't understand. A single thing you're saying. String together whatever logic you want, but all you're doing is trying to convince yourself you're on the right side of this." Big brother said. He rushed towards him, punching him into the air before I jumped off big brother's shoulders, knocking Junpei into the building through a window. 

"Even though we don't understand why you're doing this. You have to have a good reason for it, right?" I asked. 

"What ever that reason may be, is it really worth throwing away the life that you have? The human heart is just a delusion? Could you really say that in front of her?" Big brother asked.

"People don't have hearts..." Junpei started.

"You're still just trying..." Big brother interrupted.

"They don't! Otherwise... Otherwise! Then that could only mean that people cursed me and my mom with those hearts. That would just be too much. Then I wouldn't even know what's right and what's wrong anymore." Junpei said. His jellyfish appeared behind him and launched the same attack as ebfore at us. One hit big brother in the shoulder while the other hit me in the stomach. Junpei gasped when he looked up at us. Big brother was groaning in pain while I did my best not to. "Y/n, I'll heal those wounds, just pull it out." Saki said. I shook my head before looking at Junpei. "Why didn't either of you dodge it?" He asked. His jellyfish disappeared which allowed me and big brother to get close to Junpei. "I'm sorry, I said a lot arrogant stuff without really understanding anything. So tell us what happened to you. We swear to you that if you do we won't curse you anymore." Big brother said. 

"Please believe us." I said. Junpei started explaining what happened while we sat there and listened. At the end I hugged him while big brother just looked at him. "No way your mom." Big brother said. 

"Junpei, join Jujutsu High. You'd like it." I said.

"Yeah, there are a bunch of crazy strong teachers and reliable friends there. If we all work together I guarntee you we can find whoever it was that cursed your mom. Then you can make them pay for what they did. Let's fight together." Big brother said. Someone came walking down the stairs and looked at us. "Who are you?" Big brother asked, looking at him. 

"It's nice to meet you two. Vessel of Sukuna and the Vessel of the Ninetailed fox." The guy said, before his arm morphed and pinned me and big brother against the wall. "Junpei get out! I don't care what your relationship is with him right now, just get your ass out of here right now! Run!" Big brother said, as we struggled to get free.

"Itadori, Y/n just calm down Mahito's not a bad person." Junpei said. Mahito stepped towards him before resting his hand on Junpei's shoulder. "You know Junpei, you are a pretty smart kid, but sometimes thinking to much can lead to even more foolish decisions then impulsiveness. You're a classic case of that. I'd even say that you can actually be almost as foolish as those people you call fools yourself. And that's why you'll die." Mahito said.
