Volume 33: Yokohama Destruction: Part 4

"So, as you are all aware, an unknown being is floating above Yokohama, completely wiping out certain parts..."

Kouichi Saegusa took a short pause before continuing, "That person is Tatsuya Shiba, controlled by the parasite named 'Tetsu'"

"And where is this information from?"

The voice of Yotsuba Maya rang through his quiet room.

"My daughter. Saegusa Mayumi. She and her friend, Shiba Miyuki, the sister of Tatsuya, are first-hand witnesses to the situation. I assume you are quite familiar with these names..."

"I'm afraid so. Okay, I suppose I'll have to believe this information for now, after Tatsuya went rouge with your daughter."

Another voice called out, "So what are we to do then?", it was the Juumonji Clan, "Now that you've called all the Ten Master Clan members so suddenly, surely you have one."

"Of course. "Well, to speak bluntly, I believe that the only way to defeat such a threat is to work together. Putting together all of our forces to subdue Tetsu. After all, it's not simply Yokohama which is in danger, but rather, the entirety of Japan is likely under great threat, including us Ten Master Clans."

"So for the time being, we just throw as much as we have at him?"

He took a sigh, "Yes, that's the best we can do for now..."

Taking a look at the calm weather outside, he could only pray that it would stay the same.

Mayumi and Miyuki were both up at this point, trying to reach the place where Tetsu was. The unmissable strikes from heaven, sweeping the land up into ashes, gave them a clear pathway to him.

Both tapped a small button on their CAD and a suit similar to Tatsuya's, which he manufactured for the pair, encased them. With another tap of another button, flight magic activated from the suit, causing them to slowly levitate upwards before they accelerated towards Tetsu.

As they ascended higher, Tetsu made a glance towards them before placing out his hand. "And what do you two think you'll be able to do?"

Kira swapped into possession of Mayumi, taking a shot at Tetsu, "Miyuki! Now!"

A bright light suddenly took over Tetsu's view of sight, blinding him for a second. Miyuki fell backwards, letting Kira take over and initiate a fight in the sky.

Kira, within Mayumi's body, immediately rushed forwards, as though he was completely ignorant of the damage just caused to Yokohama, and with the screams of terror beneath, he suddenly disappeared.

"..."

"What? Was that the best you could do?"

Tetsu stared into the blank space where Mayumi's body once was and then towards Miyuki, "It seems like your friend over here ditched you."

"Does it?"

To the surprise of a voice behind him, Tetsu turned his head. But there was nobody.

"It seems you still don't have a grasp on how we parasites work, do you? Even after how many years of hunting me?"

Tatsuya's eyes slowly opened and he was introduced to a bright, blinding world.

"Welcome."

The single voice surrounded Tatsuya's ears, placing his full focus on the one in front of him. "Kira..."

"That's right! And Tetsu too."

Quite quickly, he felt the presence of Tetsu as a fist flung itself into his face, knocking Tatsuya back.
