sju - she can't stop crying rivers

i've been waiting for this day to come
but somehow i wish it never happened.
and now that you're gone i regret not
handing you this letter.
do you remember when...

the sky was so happy to see you.
sunshine's blessing your petite face,
you kept humming a sweet melody
only you could hear.
you were crying your heart out.

"don't look away" you said while
holding the edge of your pain.
drop after drop, your head was
ripping out piece by piece.
"why" - nobody answered.

but how could i forget the day we used to
make love under the millions of stars watching?

you promised that you'll get better
for the moon who kept you underneath.
then i understood why you always wanted to
meet under the same roof in the night
on the same bridge i found you.

i trusted you.
because i never truly knew what you meant.
and i was wrong, as you always used to remind me.

let's meet. again and again.
and then let's meet again for the last time.
the last time i saw you,
your eyes were helping the river grow.
and your hands were shaking badly.

and you left. i didn't see you actually.
i never got thank you for the time you wasted with me.

you never knew this was going to happen, me neither.
it was too soon. up there, now
you're one of the millions of stars i used to
count with you everyday.

your river,
because you couldn't stop helping it grow.
and i wish i would've stop you.
