chapter two

"i'm sorry"

"mom i'm heading over to Elena's house" Aurora said as she walked in the room her mom was in.

"what for? you haven't even eaten breakfast" kate said as aurora waved goodbye.

"i forgot my jacket and i need it" aurora yelled as she closed her door

The Gilbert house was never a long walk it was a couple houses down and she was nervous. aurora hadn't seen Jeremy since mid summer and honestly she was glad she still talked to Elena but only went over when Jeremy wasn't home.

"Elena are you here?" aurora asked as she entered the house

"In the kitchen" Elena responded

"hey aurora" Jenna said as she put the coffee pot down

"i came for my jacket that i forgot a couple of days ago... have you seen it?" aurora ask hoping the one person she didn't want to see came downstairs

"oh yeah i washed it....Jeremy grab aurora jacket and bring it to her" Jenna yelled

"where is she?" Jeremy asked as he walked into the kitchen with the jacket in his hand

"right here" Jenna said as she pointed to aurora and taking a sip of her coffee

"thank you..." aurora said as she was handed her jacket

"don't you have a play presentation today?" Elena asked Jenna

"i'm meeting with my thesis professor at.... now crap." Jenna said as she checked her watch letting her hair down

" uh i should start leaving too" aurora said

"you want me to take you?" Jenna asked

"no its fine i'm meeting with my friend" aurora said

"alright then bye ill see you guys later" Jenna said as she basically ran out the door.

"bye Elena ill you at school.....bye jer" aurora said almost regretting the final two words that came out of her mouth

"bye Rory"Jeremy said as he took Elena coffee.

"so you finally spoke four words to him......congratulations!" Jackie said laughing

" not funny i felt weird being there maybe i should get over this first kiss thing its not even a big deal" aurora said

"well if you want to then i am required to make you guys best friends again..... and maybe get you guys to date" Jackie said with a wink

"okay well this conversation is over also i need to buy a new pack of chocolate bar"!aurora said

"well if you and Jeremy don't end up together then you and the chocolate will" Jackie said with a smile

"shut up ill see you later" aurora said as she entered the hallway with the strawberry blonde next to her

"Rory over here right now!" aurora heard behind her.

"Caroline, bonnie and Elena hi" aurora said with a smile and waving a hi as she made her way over to the girls.

"look at the ass at that guy" Caroline said grabbing aurora by the arm.

"its... something" aurora said

"hold on guys me and aurora will be right back" Elena said as she grabbed aurora arm and pulling her to the boys bathroom.

"whats with everyone grabbing my arm.. i mean do you guys love it" aurora said

"oh uh Elena i don't mean to sound like a smart ass uh this is the boys bathroom which we're not allowed to be in" aurora said as she tried to walk out only to be pulled back in

"great its the first day of school and your already stoned" Elena said as she grabbed Jeremy's face.

"no im not" Jeremy scoffed

"honestly theres no point for me even being here so imma just leave and hopefully i fall in a ditch on my way out " aurora said as she tried walking away.

" no stay.... where is it, is it on you-" Elena said as she started to try to check him

"stop- alright you need to chill yourself" Jeremy said making aurora laugh

"i'm sorry but is that stoner talk?" aurora said trying to not laugh

"alr you—shut it" Jeremy said as he looked at the redhead girl.

"hey hey don't get mad at me because you have stoner words in your mouth" aurora said

"dont tell her to shut it—also chill myself? dude you are so cool" Elena said as she started to check him again

"stop i don't have anything on me— are you crazy?" Jeremy said to Elena

"you have haven't seen crazy Jeremy.. i gave you a summer pass but i am done watching you destroy yourself and your friendship with Rory" Elena said as she point to aurora at the end of sentence

Jeremy tried to walk away but Elena being Elena made him stay put.

"no no you know what go ahead keep it up but just know i'm going to be there to ruin your buzz every time you got it and if i'm not there Rory will" Elena said

"no rory will not im not even supposed to even be in here" aurora said waved her hands around like a possessed person

the awkward part was starting when a guy walked out of the bathroom stall and left

" you know that most grossest part about this is that he didn't even wash his hands" aurora said to break the tension

"Jeremy i know you and its not this person... so don't be this person" Elena said

" i don't need this and neither does Rory" Jeremy said walking off but not before grabbing aurora arm and taking her with him

" hey-hey buddy no need for arm pulling.." aurora said as Jeremy slowed down from walking away from Elena

" you had no right to tell her!" Jeremy said with an angry stare

" well jokes on you i never told her anything i just told her i didn't want to be at your house when your there... so ha!" aurora said

" so how the hell does she know?" Jeremy said

" you know what Jeremy i honestly don't know or care because you are not my problem anymore you stopped being my problem months ago" aurora said as she tried leaving but was held back by Jeremy grabbing her arm

" also whats with everyone grabbing my arm!— its so goddamn annoying" aurora said as she snatching her arm back for the hold Jeremy had on her.

" sorry..." Jeremy muttered —in all honesty Jeremy was hurt on what aurora said about him not being her problem anymore.

aurora regretted what she had said and aurora knew if she took it she would regret that to so in a way there was not way to take it back without regretting but aurora being aurora she was gonna take it back—

" i'm sorry it didn't mean that" aurora said

" for?—your right i'm not your problem anymore but you will always be my problem...ill see you around Rory" Jeremy said as he went to hug her

This is what aurora needed... This is what Jeremy needed...This is what they both needed and in all honesty this is what they could give each other
