Aurora went straight home not even bothering to look for Jackie. Aurora was going to her first high school party and she was excited about it.
aurora heard a knock downstairs.
" oh shit— Jackie here already—i-i'm not ready" aurora said as she ran downstairs to open the door
" im not read-" aurora said before she stopped speaking to look at jeremy who was standing in front of her instead of Jackie
"your not what?" jeremy said
" i thought you were Jackie" aurora said as she moved to the side to let jeremy in
"you parents aren't here?" jeremy asked as he walked in the grimes home
"nope my mom and sisters are at my aunts house until my dad airplane arrives which will be late" aurora said
"wait which aunt— is it abby or cassanda?" jeremy asked
" i believe its aunt abby— also what are you doing here?" aurora asked
"i just wanted to hangout with you and get to know Jackie but shes not here so that doesn't matter"jeremy said
"she'll probably be here later— come i need to find an outfit and your helping me" aurora said as she grabbed jeremy hand and pulled him to her room
"so i was thinking this beige jacket, this white crop and blue jeans with my converse— this looks good right?" aurora said as she pulled out the clothes to show jeremy
"if were being honest you look good in anything—" jeremy said before being cut off with a shoe being thrown at him but missing
"shut it— its a yes or no answer" aurora said as she looked at the boy that sat on her bed
"its a yes-" jeremy said before he was cut off again by the doorbell.
aurora left jeremy in her room to go answer the door which was probably a bad idea because when she was downstairs letting her friend inside her house jeremy was upstairs looking at the picture that were on her wall. which by the way was most pictures of her and him hugging each but new photos were taken which were of her and Jackie hugging it was like he was being replaced by... a strawberry blonde
" whats jeremy doing here?— ew don't tell you guys are making out again" Jackie said with a disgusted expression
"that's exactly what we were doing" jeremy said with a smile
" no we were not— shut it jeremy go look at the wall or something" aurora said as she walked more into her room the grab the clothes she picked out and put them in her closet
"so what were you guys doing?" Jackie asked with her eyebrows rise
"he was helping me pick out an outfit" aurora said
