so hey. it's blaze. i just wanted to update yall on where i've been. i posted an announcement on my message board yesterday but i wanted to get more in detail here.
as yall know, i left wattpad in october last year. but shortly after, i got my phone taken for a year because my parents found out i had snapchat and tiktok. they found out just about everything i never wanted them to find out such as my mental health being absolute shit, the fact that i'm bisexual and transmasc, (TW: s3lf h4rm), the fact that i used to c*t myself (which i haven't done in a long time so yayyy), and a lot of other stuff.
so yeah that really sucked. my dad was able to get into my phone and i had already deleted all my social media apps from it (bc they had alr been acting like they were gonna go through my phone). but he did look through my camera roll which wasn't so great either. and then he put my phone in a metal shredder bc that's a perfectly normal thing for a parent to do 🙂
anyways, fast forward to now. my relationship with my parents has definitely gotten better. i've been through therapy with an AMAZING therapist (who calls me blaze and uses he/him for me ahdikahfuakhd which my parents still refuse to do 😩) and it has helped a lot. i can now say that i love my dad and he's amazing (despite the fact he shredded my phone lolz) and i like my mom. i don't know if i'll ever be able to love her due to all the shit she's put me through in the past, but i don't hate her anymore. i know she's trying to do better, which i accept. we still have our moments though, as all parents and kids do.
