05. 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙼𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚢

I woke up to Jay staring at me with two cups of tea, I blinked a few times trying to clear my vision more and I sat up.

"May I ask why you are staring at me Jay?" My voice was a bit deeper but it wasn't really noticeable unless you were paying close attention.

"U-uh m-master Wu wanted m-me to uh make you some t-tea for when you woke up, which is right now so here y/n!" He handed me my tea shaking a ever so slightly, before clearing his throat.

"Are you alright? Your stuttering, shaking and your face is a bit red" saying that only made his face get more red.

"Y-yeah I'm okay just uhm thinking, yeah.."

"Ah okay," I took a sip of the warm tea, it was pretty good, but it was different in a way.

"Say did you add something to the tea? It taste great"

"Uhm yeah, also my parents will be staying with us till the junk yard is clear of serpentine" he smiled softly, and I nodded in response.

"Hm okay, thank you for telling me Jay"

"Mhm" he quickly left, almost hitting the door. My legs were still a bit paralyzed, so I just teleported to the deck where the ninja were training, Jay just got there.

He walked up to the other ninja mumbling about something, Kai seemed to be a bit upset about something he said, cause he was about to set Jay on fire, I decided to stop him.

"Save your anger, take it out on the serpentine, not your teammates, even if they can be annoying." I spoke calmly drinking the tea jay made.

I looked up to see a bit of a offended look on his face, and Kai calmed down.

"I never said anything about you Jay, so I don't understand why your offended, unless you see your self as annoying."

"I-" Jay went silent, and Kai just started laughing, and walked over to me with a smile.

"I think we're gonna get along just fine hotshot" Jay just looked absolutely betrayed.

I smiled a bit taking another sip of tea, "if your flirting with me Kai, I suggest learning to make tea like Jay's, Before trying to flirt with me"

"Wha-" his face went red, as Cole and Zane just stared at each other, and Jay just started laughing.

"Haha Kai got rejected!"

"I wouldn't be talking Jay, your tea is no where close to Wu's" he stopped laughing, while Zane walked up to me aswell as Cole.

"Y/n, may I ask a question?"

"Sure go for it, popsicle" he froze in confusion, but Kai was the first to get it.

"WOAH JESUS" his face went red as he just stared at me.

I simply smirked,"now popsicle what's your question?"

"Uh- I will ignore that for now, but what kinda of weapon did you use earlier?"

"Oh you my urumi, it's a flexible, whip-like sword, it takes great skill to be able to use it properly"

"Hmm, so you are a skilled user?"

"Yep, I've had 1000 years to learn how to properly use it" everyone went silent and stared at me

"wait wait hold on, What do you mean 1000 years!?"

"Oh Wu didn't tell you? I got stuck in time for 1000 years or something, Lloyd freed me"

"so your basically 1000 years old or something?" Jay's face when he said that went blank.
