I sat on the patient's bed in the Ortho treatment room. Dr Callie Torres was looking at my x-rays.

"So Dr Torres when do I get my fingers back? My splint is winning the custody race right now and the rest of my hand isn't happy," I said. Dr Torres laughed. "Neither is my girlfriend,"

"Well, I think we can remove the tape. If it hurts come back and I'll give you pain meds," Dr Torres said.

"If it hurts I'll tough it out," I said. Dr Torres wrote on my chart.

"You want a lollipop?" Dr Torres asked.

"Absolutely," I said. She handed me 2 lollipops.

"See you later Montgomery," Dr Torres said.

"Thank you. Bye Torres," I said rushing out as my pager rang. It was Dr Bailey. I walked in to find Dr Bailey and Addison.

"Montgomery, keep your godson entertained," Dr Bailey said.

"Yay," I said picking up the baby from his car seat. "Hey baby," I said poking his tummy.

"How's your hand?" Dr Bailey asked.

"My tape is off. Dr Torres told me to go back if I have any pain," I said.

"Ana, get out," Addison said.

"Come on Tuck let's get away from the angry redhead," I said in a baby voice. I bounced Tuck around as we walked around the hospital. Alex walked toward me.

"What are you doing?" Alex asked.

"I'm watching Tuck," I said. "What are you doing?"

"I was trying to make out with Izzie before we were interrupted by transplant dude being rushed in because his heart started failing," Alex complained.

"Poor you," I smirked.

"You're all loved up and it makes me sick. Who am I supposed to talk about hot chicks with?" Alex asked.

"I still find girls attractive I just don't want to sleep with them," I said. "So if you want to talk about girls I'm still your girl to talk about other hot girls with,"

"Let's talk about Charlie," Alex said. I rolled my eyes.

We'd picked up the puppy last night and Nate had decided to call him Rocket. Charlie and I were cooking breakfast together while Nate was playing with Rocket. Charlie had her hands on my waist while I was making pancakes.

"Charlie, Mom do you think Rocket can get a pancake too?" Nate asked.

"Dogs can't eat pancakes bubba," Charlie said. "He'll have his own breakfast when you're eating," Alex burst through the door.

"Who's dying?" Alex asked.

"No one. Why did you try to knock the door off the hinges?" I asked.

"You text me 911," Alex said. Nate started giggling.
