Oh, for him to fall in love
Right in front of me
While I'm hoping it is me
Knowing that they're Wishes
not the even shooting stars can fullfill.

I see them holding hands
Their fingers interlinked,
They're making the heart eyes
Now, my vision's kinda blurry.

Oh after all i had done for him
I'd hoped he'd atleast look at me.
And I'm not the hopeless type of lover,
Yet the dissapointment still surges through my arteries;
Now i feel the anguish spread all over.

I had been ready all my life
In hopes that I'd be the one
At the bottom of the journey
Slowing down his fall, for me.

i see him falling down,
And I'm not there, at the end.
His sugary promises to me are slowing his fall for her
While it's simultaneously peicrcng my heart.

Support you till the end he'd said to me
Or maybe even after he'd added thoughtfully
Now there resides my grave, all thanks to him
He's not once visited, cause he's drenched
In the love and care that she's showering him

The love you'd promised only i was privileged
To shower,
Only I would be the one to make you excited and joyous
What a fake, what a sweet talker you were
You drowned me with your lies, and used me to get to her shore.
