How horrible is it that we were born in this time
When fascism, genocide all is still pevalant,
He has to his name, less than a dime
Other earns through exploiting, to else's fortune deterrent.

Treatment of a burn so unaffordable-
You'd rather perish in the fire.
Subjugation of other is still seen feasible
The land of the natives, still called 'of the British isles'.

Times are of hardship the government isn't your friend,
It creates momentary panic just to create profit.
You elect the lawmakers but they make laws against,
They're there due to you, but they are scurrying favours from the rich.

When two communities fight, only the civilians die-
The chessmasters just watch amused;
Entrapped in the matrix your whole life is a lie
No matter what your efforts, this is a fight you'll lose.

Some are oppressed, some are ignorant
Some like you and I are aware yet incapable
Throughout history many tried, you and I? We're no different.
Its a dystopia we live in,
no matter our efforts it's just not salvageable.
