Chapter 16

Beth's POV
"Wake up young master, your time has come" said a voice. What? Who's that? Am I dreaming? "Yes you are Beth" said the voice again. "Who are you? How do you know my name? And what do you mean by my time is coming?" I asked.
"You will find out soon enough but I have to give you something" the voice said as an object appeared. "What's that?" I asked. "This is a rare and powerful amulet that can only be activated by a person who is worthy"
"Worthy? I don't know anyone who's worthy enough to control something so powerful" I said. I heard the voice chuckle and I saw the amulet coming towards me.
"I see the amulet has chosen it's user" said the voice as the amulet wrapped around my neck. "What?! How am I worthy enough for this and not someone else?" I asked. "Because you are not from Earth you came from a different planet, called-"
But before the voice could finish its sentence, I saw it disappear into tiny flecks of light. "Wait! What's the planet called?!" I asked. "In do time Beth, in do time" said the voice as it disappeared.
(Out of dream)
I woke up with a cold sweat and I was panting like crazy. "Beth are you ok?" Asked Jack waking up. "Y- yeah, I'm fine just a nightmare" I said getting up. "What was it about?" He asked. Scrap! How am I going to explain my dream to him? He's not going to believe me and neither will everyone else.
"Never mind, just go back to sleep. I probably disturbed you anyway" I said turning away. "Beth?" Asked Jack. "Yeah?" I said. "When did you get that necklace?" He asked pointing to my neck. I looked down and I saw a blue necklace with little pieces of metal surrounding the edges.
"Uh, my parents gave it to me as a present" I lied. "Oh, well it looks nice on you" he said returning to the couch. "Thanks" I said. Once Jack was asleep I looked at the necklace and I saw it was glowing a vibrant blue. It then started to lift me up in the air and it began to choke me until everyone was up.
"Beth! How are you doing that?!" Asked Miko. I couldn't answer because the thing was chocking me and it's hard to talk when your being chocked. "Get her down from there!" Yelled Ratchet.
The glow from the necklace began to dim and I was falling to the floor. I knew Ratchet wasn't going to be quick enough to catch me so I knew I would break a bone or something.
Then I saw a bright blue light come towards me and catch me just inches above the ground. I didn't see the persons face because he/she was super fast so it was hard to tell.
Once I opened my eyes I was lying down on the couch looking up at the ceiling. I heard voices in the background but they were getting all fuzzy and the world was becoming dark. The next thing I know is darkness overcame me once again.
