Chapter 28

Beth's POV
It was late at night and I was sitting by the fire I made from just rocks and sticks. Yeah, I bet your wondering why
Wheeljack didn't help me with the fire; but he was at his now fixed ship gathering weapons and trying to contact the team without getting tracked by the 'cons.
I then heard footsteps coming my way and I saw that it belonged to Wheeljack. He sat down next to me and just kept quiet. (Which is odd)
"Any news?" I asked.
"No, even if I tried to contact them, we'd be sitting ducks for the 'cons." He said.
"Do you think we'll ever get the team back together? And still win the war?"
"I don't know kid, but it's getting late, you should be getting what your species calls 'sleep'." He said.
I was getting a bit tired but after all that's happened, I didn't want to sleep. I just wish that this never happened; sure I made new friends and found out about a secret alien war, but I just want my life to be normal again. I wish Emily were here to, oh Emily, how I miss you!
Jack's POV
Wow! I can't believe it! I'm sitting with Beth's sister! But, I saw her die on cybertron, how is she still alive? There's no oxygen on that planet.
"So uh, Emily, I have some questions to ask you," I said.
"What is it?" She asked.
"Like um, HOW ON EARTH DID YOU SURVIVE?! We've all been grieving for your loss! Especially your sister! Do you have any idea how much she loved you?! She cried for two days!" I yelled.
"I- I'm sorry! I just woke up!"
"Woke up? From where?" I asked.
"The planet that you saw me 'die' when you were in the pod." She said with quotations around 'die'.
"What? But I saw you gasp for air! Everyone did, Beth even went super crazy after you died." I said.
She didn't say anything else to me but she said one last thing,
"Don't tell my sister about me! Promise?" She asked.
What? Why would she ask me to do this? Wouldn't she want to see her sister again after all that's happened? I knew she wouldn't stop asking me until I have her an answer so I did.
"Promise." I said as she handed me something and took off.
What's this? I don't know what it is but there was a note attached to it.
"Beautiful

Honest with her sister and I like that about you Beth, I love you. -Emily"
It was a poem for Beth! I wish I could give this to her but I promised Emily that I wouldn't tell Beth bout this, well, Emily didn't say anything about not GIVING her anything. So, I'll give this to Beth. I'm sure she'll just love it.
