7 - The Ultracheese

After replying to Jamie's text, I picked out the clothes I would wear and did my make up. I wore black jeans, a white top and Jamie's leather jacket. As I finished putting on my Doc Martens, I got another text.

I grabbed my bag and went to say goodbye to my dad. He was doing the dishes before getting ready to go to bed.

- Goodbye dad. I'm leaving now - I said to him as I entered the kitchen.

- Bye sweetie, have a good time. Remember that you have to go to the studio tomorrow afternoon. They'll give you the schedule for the band's upcoming interviews and photoshoots - he said to me, as he dried his hands.

- Yes, I know. Love you, bye - I said to him, kissing his cheek.

- Love you too - my dad said with a smile.

I opened the front door and walked towards the street. There was Alex's car parked and I saw Jamie waving his hand from the window. I smiled at him and got in the passenger's seat.

- Hello - I said to Jamie, as I closed the car's door.

- Hey - he said back, smiling. He was wearing a white t-shirt, with a leather jacket on top, and jeans.

- Hello there Phoebe - another voice said, and I turned around. It was Matt.

- Hey Matt, didn't see you there - I said to him, smiling. - Where are Nick and Alex? - I asked.

- They went straight to the pub, so they could grab a nice table for all of us - Jamie explained to me, as he drove away from my house.

The ride to the pub was silent. We arrived there in around 10 minutes. Jamie parked the car in front of a rather crowded place; on top of the door there was a sign that read "The Ultracheese". Once we got inside, we spotted Nick and Alex sitting in a booth at the back of the bar. The three of us walked towards them and greeted each other. I sat down next to Nick, and Jamie sat beside me. On the other side of the table Matt and Alex sat together.

- So, shall we order the first round of drinks? - Alex asked everybody.

- Yeah - Jamie said, nodding in agreement.

Alex went to the bar and ordered beers for everyone, and Matt helped him carrying them to the table.

- So, before we start drinking, let's make a toast - Matt said, raising his bottle. - To Suck it and See -.

- To Suck it and See! - the rest of us said, raising our bottles as well.

We kept talking and drinking. I must admit that I wasn't used to going out with guys, but I was having a really good time with the Monkeys and I really enjoyed their company. Matt and Alex were talking to each other and Nick went to the bathroom, when Jamie whispered something to me.

- You look beautiful tonight - I bit my lip trying not to smile, and looked at him. He smiled at me and I found myself blushing.

- By the way, I noticed that you're wearing my jacket. It looks good on you - Jamie added.

- Thank you for giving it to me. I love it - I said to him, and then Nick came back and sat down next to Matt.

- Well, it's my turn to go to the bathroom now - I said. Jamie stood up so I could get out from the booth's seat.

I was going to the bathroom when I bumped into someone. I muttered a "sorry" and kept walking.

- Phoebe? - I heard a male voice say, and I turned around. A tall, dark haired guy was standing there, with an amused face.
