- Are you ready to go? Our van should be here soon - Matt asked me, and I nodded, excitement filling my body.

We grabbed our luggage and walked to the hotel's parking lot.

- Here, let me help you - Jamie said and grabbed my suitcase.

- It's okay, I can carry it - I said, quite nervous. I didn't know why but I still felt kind of weird around him; it was like I wasn't completely over him like I thought I was.

- Please, I insist - he smiled.

- Okay then, thanks - I replied and let go of the suitcase.

There was a big van waiting for us in the parking lot. We put our stuff in the back and got in it. I sat next to Nick and Matt, and in around 40 minutes we arrived at the airport.

A couple of people recognized Alex and asked for pictures and autographs. Of course, he accepted, and once he spoke to all of the fans, we went to the security check.

- What's our flight? - I asked them as I read the upcoming flights on a screen.

- You're not going to find it there - Matt chuckled, and I looked at him confused.

- We're going on a private jet. Come on - Alex smirked and started walking.

A private jet? Of course. Why haven't I thought of that? I followed them around the airport halls and then we entered the runway, where I saw a rather small jet. Other people took care of our luggage and we climbed the stairs. Inside was amazing: leather seats, tables, a bathroom; I felt like I was in a movie.

- You fly like this all the time? - I asked them as I looked around, impressed.

- Yeah - Alex nodded. - Although when we started no. But nobody recognized us then -.

We all settled in the different seats. Matt got all of us a beer and we chatted. I took a couple of pictures so I could send them to Charlotte later. In two hours, we were landing in Scotland.

Once we arrived to the hotel, the Monkeys offered me to stay in a room by myself. I told them that I didn't mind sharing one; after all, it was one night. I ended up sharing a room with Nick and Matt, and Alex and Jamie were staying together.

We were too tired to go out and eat, so we ordered room service and ate in Alex's and Jamie's room. We watched a movie while we ate, and when it ended we called it a night and went straight to bed. I fell asleep immediately.

- Phoebe, wake up - I heard Nick whispering. I grunted and covered myself with the sheets.

- Come on, we're singing Happy Birthday to Jamie - he said and I uncovered my face.

- It's his birthday? - I asked, and he nodded. I got up and put on a hoodie. I didn't know that Jamie's birthday was today; hell, I didn't know when it was.

- Come on - Matt said and opened our room's door.

Outside his room, Alex was waiting with a muffin on his hand and a candle on the other.

- Come on, hurry - he whispered. He put the candle on the muffin and Nick lit it up. - I hope I didn't wake him up - he said nervously.

Alex opened the door quietly and Matt went to stand near the window. Jamie was sprawled out on his bed and was snoring softly.

- Okay, one, two, three - Alex whispered and Matt opened the curtains. The three men started to sing Happy Birthday and I chuckled at the situation. Jamie opened his eyes and a smile appeared on his face once he realized what was happening.

- Happy birthday mate! - Alex said as he hugged Jamie.

- Happy birthday - I said to him and he smiled. He was shirtless, so I looked away, avoiding the sight of his bare torso.

- Thank you - the guitarist said with a big smile, looking at the four of us.

We ended up having breakfast in the hotel. After we finished eating, I told them that I would walk for a while around the city.

- Do you want me to come with you? - Jamie asked me as we were walking to the elevator.

- No, it's okay. I'm just going to walk around for like an hour - I shrugged. Honestly, I would have loved to go and explore the city with him, but I wanted to be alone for just a bit.

- Okay - he smiled.

I left the hotel with my headphones on and music blasting from them. I walked around the streets and found myself walking alongside some people that were going to work, with coffee on one hand and their briefcases on the other one.

As I walked, a shop caught my attention; it was a music store. Hopefully, I could find a present for Nick and Jamie. I looked around and found some pretty straps. I decided to buy two of them. For Nick I bought a red one, since it was his favorite color. And I got Jamie a strap with owls; when I saw it, I knew immediately that it would be the perfect present for him. He had told me that his favorite animal was the owl; he really liked the mysterious vibe they gave and how they represented wisdom.

I payed for both straps and walked back to the hotel. My room was empty when I arrived, so I showered and changed into some comfortable clothes. Then I decided to go and check if the boys were in the other room. I knocked and Matt opened the door.

- How was the walk? - the drummer asked me as he moved to the side so I could come in. I entered the room and he closed the door behind me.

- It was nice - I said and sat on the bed. - Saw a couple of nice stores -.

There were a couple of empty beer bottles on the floor, and Alex was playing his guitar while he sang. They were discussing the setlist but decided to keep playing the same songs that they had been playing the rest of the tour.

After a while, the four men decided that it was time to get up and shower before we went to the festival. While Matt showered, I gave Nick his present. His face lit up once he opened the bag.

- I love it - he hugged me. - I'm going to use it from now until it breaks. Thank you so much - he smiled.

- You're welcome. I'm glad you liked it - I smiled.

After giving Nick his present, it was time that Jamie received his. I knocked on his room's door and Alex opened it.

- Hey Alex, is Jamie around? - I asked him. Then, I heard the bathroom door open.

- Yeah, he just got out of the shower - he replied. - Jamie mate, come here. Phoebe is looking for you - he said to the guitarist.

- Let me put on some clothes - I heard him say.

Then, he stood next to Alex and the singer patted his back and left to two of us alone. Jamie was drying his hair with a towel.

- I got you this. Happy birthday - I smiled and handed him his present.

- Wow, you really didn't need to get me anything - he smiled and put the towel on his shoulder so he could open the bag.

- I know, but I saw it this morning and thought you might like it - I shrugged. He took the strap out of the bag and smiled from ear to ear.

- It's perfect. Thank you - he hugged me.

- You're welcome - I smiled. - Well, I better go and finish getting ready - I gave him another smile and started to walk away.

- Wait. I need to talk to you Phoebe -.
