"The way I'm a topic of conversation in Trevor's little group chat is making me blush." Lydia says as she gets into her car with Ariana so she can drop her off at the airport.

"You just like the attention." Ariana states, shaking her head with a laugh.

"The whole hockey community knows who I am." Lydia states. "It makes me feel special."

"Do the twelve year olds sending you death threats make you feel special too?" Ariana questions making Lydia laugh.

"Yes it does actually. They're so delusional that they think they can marry someone like ten years older than them. It's so funny." Lydia states making Ariana roll her eyes.

"Only you would find it funny." Ariana mutters. "Actually Trevor said his whole friend group finds it funny so it's not only me."

"How would you know? He won't let you into the group chat." Ariana states making Lydia do a hard break to turn and face her.

"Don't get me started on the whole group chat situation." Lydia says with slight anger. "It's so annoyingggg"

"Go complain about it to your family tonight. I'm over hearing about it." Ariana states while Lydia pulls up to the drop off part of the airport.

"You love it." Lydia states while getting out of the car to help Ariana with her bags.

"Keep telling yourself that." Ariana says cheekily while giving Lydia a quick hug.

"You're still gonna pick me up right?" Ariana asks, making Lydia roll her eyes.

"Yes ma'am" Lydia states before waving bye to Ariana who makes her way into the airport.

"Your favorite child is here!" Lydia shouts when walking through the front door of her parent's house.

"No you're not!" Lydia hears Jay yells before seeing him run into the entryway and attempt to push Lydia out of the house.

"Jay, take your hands off my favorite daughter." Robert states pushing Jay aside to hug his daughter.

"Now tell us what's the deal with you and this Trevor boy." Lydia's dad says before looking at Jay. "Help your sister with her bags will you?"

"Wow okay." Jay mutters as their mom walks into the entry room to hug Lydia.

"Stop giving Jay such a hard time." Lydia's mom says as Robert shares a look with his daughter both of them smirking knowing they won't stop giving Jay a hard time.

"Dinner is almost ready Lydia. So you can put your bags in your room and head down." Lydia's mom states making Lydia mock salute her. "Yes ma'am."

"Be warned all the attention is gonna be on you and your man." Jay says smugly, making Lydia flip him off.

"At least I can pull."
