It's just a small little letter, floating through the weather
It matters so much more,
Because inside my pocket, I've got a locket
Of a picture that I adore.
It's your smile,
The way you pull me in;
Though it's been a while,
We've become much more than just friends
& no, I'd never trade you for the finest of gold
& yes, I'll stay with you, young until old
All that I've learned from life in the sun,
Is to play with your shadow, instead of turning to run
I pray you'll be my fingertips,
When I click the shutter to capture moments
Your love is my silver lining
& I need you to know it.
You are my heart's camera.
& I'll let my eyes show it.
Maybe this whole time, I've needed more than one heart,
I needed two...

you'll see that it says,
