The Lying Truth

Oh it is the truth, in which, we have all despised

But I saw it dancing in your eyes

As you shout to the dumb and the wise,

"I am the man that never dies!"

But foolish you, you're out of tries;

Because the death of you, will be from lies

The flames of honesty will now arise.

So, now what will your false tears buy?

Are you even able to use them for cries?

Or are even your tears, laughs, and silence not what they imply?

Your emotions and interests are really all disguised?

Your mind and heart are only set with a selfish prize?

Trust me, when I say that I am not surprised.

The strings of our lives are being coming knots,

Instead of ties

Because to you, I have more than once lied

Does that make this poem a hypocritical rise?

If so, I'm not that different from you, am I?

Oh, it is the truth, in which, we have all despised
