Ares and Hephaestus VII

(Ares' P.O.V)

Before our one-on-one battle begin, I heard the crowd yelling all over that place. It was like they are cheering for their supreme leader and while the others are telling cursing words against me. Here, the new supreme leader Paul, staring at me while he was ready for our battle. And I am also doing the same, staring at him, and ready to win and prove what I must to prove. Later on, the crowd was silenced, then the tense can be felt. Paul, looked at the crowd and told them...

"Everyone, here is a guy who threatened us to kill or any harm in this village. But now, he's claiming that he is Ares, the god of war and the Olympians! While another prisoner claims that he is Hephaestus, the god of blacksmiths!"

The crowd laughed from what they have heard about us. As these crowds are mocking us, they don't have any idea what they are saying. But Kevin is the only one who is silenced and believed on us. These are the words that I heard from them...

"Hey look, this is Ares! I mean, the fake Ares!"

"This man already lost his mind!"

And many insulting words I heard from them. But they forget that I wounded and killed some of their men when I lost in the forest and before I imprisoned. Paul requested the crowd to silence, and that's what the crowd did. Then he looked at me and asked...

"Any last words before you die, prisoner?"

I pointed my sword to him and said...

"Last words? I don't think so mortal, I don't have any last words! For I believe that this is not yet the end of mine!"

Here, I stabbed the sword that I hold in the ground. But Paul, again, feels a little nervous that time. It was like he slowly felt that strange presence again when we fight in the forest. But he just ignored it, he must be brave and not be afraid, that is what exactly in his mind. Here, he decided to make a first move by attacking me, he ran towards me. I pulled a sword that I stabbed in the ground and attacked him just like what he did. Our battle begun that time, we have a one-on-one sword fight. I blocked his attacked and him too. It was an intense fight happened in the village of Minjos.

During that battle, instead of yelling and cheering, the crowd was just silenced. They feel a strange feeling during that fight. For sure, it was my presence, they can feel it, their hearts pounding so fast that makes them say this...

"What's this strange feeling I felt?"

"It was like a presence of god that is fighting!"

In the middle of the battle, my opponent Paul was stopped from attacking and the battle was paused for a while. He was panting and his strange feeling became worst. His heart beating so fast like he slowly feeling nervous and afraid.

"Why? This strange feeling, I felt it again! He's too strong, and tougher than the centaurs when we faced them!"

As I saw him stop fighting me, I confidently asked him...

"What's the matter, supreme leader of the village? I thought you will kill me?"

"It's not yet over prisoner! You think you already win?" Paul responded.

Paul slowly shaking that time, I can see it through his hand. Later on, he proceeds to attack me, but I just blocked his attack with my sword. The battle again happened, but they saw it, and even Paul feels it, that he didn't stand a chance against me. Every time he attacks, he was pushed back because of my blocks. The crowd was in a full of silence, and they totally feel my presence while fighting, it was fear and nervousness. It was like they feel the strength of my attack. But Kevin, he just smiled and said in a low voice...
