AWAVE OF guilt washed over Tetsuya Setsko like a tsunami; it felt like the whole world had crumbled beneath his feet. It was hard to believe the deaths of a stranger could sting so much.
He sort of felt relieved the man, the buff killer, was there; who did what he couldn't. Without him in the game, Tetsuya would've been forced to kill everyone, including Mizaki. Without him, Tetsuya knew he wouldn't be here. But if it weren't for Mizaki, he knew he wouldn't be here either.
As Tetsuya walked through the streets, he decided to stop by a grocery store to pick up a few things. Stopping in front of the building's doors, he gripped the doors by the inner edges, pulling open the automatic doors with all the strength he had left. The young man took a shopping basket from the holder, beginning to walk through the aisles, his legs trembling and his feed dragged along the cold tiles.
