TETSUYA WAS BORED, so he decided that he'd play in another game tonight. But was it really worth it to risk his life in a game that heavily involved death? To any other normal person, they'd respond with "no". But to Tetsuya, he didn't care either way. To him, the feeling of being bored was painful, and he hated the feeling. Sure, he'd have his cassette player to occupy his ears with music constantly, but eventually that gets old and repetitive. The Borderland games were his only source of excitement; each game with their own uniqueness.
The sky faded to black and the games were happening once again. Tetsuya's only been in the Borderlands for four days, and now he was on his fourth game with sixteen days left on his visa. And whatever difficulty the game was tonight would only extend it. Tetsuya's mind lingered on whether the game would possibly be a hearts. After the eight of hearts, he only realized why they were considered the worst type of games. But even so, he couldn't help but want to play in one again.
