SEASIDE PARADISE TOKYO; known as the new Beach, as Hatter calls it. The Beach was a place where people could live life to the fullest without a single worry; it was a place where people can overcome their fears and live freely without having to be afraid. Everyone could come together and connect with each other, living freely without a single care in the world; that was the meaning of the Beach, at least in Hatter's words.
Tetsuya didn't mind the Borderlands. To him, it was more like an escape; an escape from the old world. Here, everyone could do whatever they wanted without judgement or being penalized. People could steal, rob, kill, and they wouldn't receive a single consequence. Tetsuya preferred the constant silence, instead of the usual noises filling his ears every now and then, and the fact that he could eat anytime he wanted without having to pay.
