Chapter Five:

Harrys Pov

" you want to prank someone?" asks my dad, that's the first thing I hear the morning before I'm supposed to leave for Hogwarts "what," I say half asleep, "DO YOU WANT TO PRANK SOMEONE!" he yells and he jumps on my bed, " dad I'm trying to sleep, it's too early for this" "you did not just say that! it is never too early to cause mayhem and destruction" I look at him to see if his kidding but of course he's not, he looks like this is the most serious conversation he has had with me in all of my 11 years of life, "who are we pranking," I ask narrowing my eyes "now we're talking that sounds more like my son, will I was think reg" "no" I respond" "what do you mean no?" " well considering he's standing in the doorway I don't think it would be much of a prank," I say with a smile as I watch my dads horrified expression " hey Reggie we were just talking about you," my dad says as he turns around with the most incessant look on his face that I have ever seen " yea I heard" reg responds flatly while rolls his eyes " why don't you target someone else for this prank like I don't know pads or moony?" reg questions " well my sweet one they know all of my pranks by now" dad say "oh and I dont you two need new material" I set upagenst my headbord and watch them argue, im going to miss this when im at school " why dont you help come up with something reg?" i ask " beacouse my little harry Im not a baby like your dad here" " I like it when you call me baby" my dad resonsed and winks at Reg earning him self a sweft hit on the head "stop that you idiot" he say, and I laugh watching the two of them, yea im really going to miss this " ok you two get out of my room so I can get ready please" " wow 11 going on 17 crust your going to be a scary teenager" my dad says as he gets up from my bad and strats heading to the door "breakfast is done when your ready come down " says reg " love you" they both say as they shout my door "love you both too" i yell back with a smile on my face.

Regulus's pov

"I think that went well," says James " besides when you tried to encourage him to cause trouble and prank people again" I replay " when are we going to tell him the rest," I ask " Reggie he's not ready" say James " he needs to know we are together, I'm honestly surprised he hasn't put it together yet" "I'll tell him soon, but he's 11 and he has already gone through a big change, he leaves for school tomorrow" he responds "I guess your right, we can tell him when he comes home for brack" "what did you say?" james asked "We can tell him when he comes home for break" I respond " no no before that," he says smiling "I'm not saying it again Potter" I respond shortly " did you Regulus Arcturus Black just say that I James Flemont Potter, was right," James asked " do you James Flemont Potter want to sleep alone tonight, because if you don't stop that is what will happen" " oh come on babe I have been waiting years to hear you say I was right normally you just say I'm a dick" " that's because you are a dick," I say as I walk into the kitchen with james following laighing "whos a dick" askes my brother "your best fraind" i resopnd " you mean your boyfriend" Sirius askes teasingly while wigling his eyebrows "you know your taking this alot batter then i thought you would pads" says james as he comes up and huges me from behind resting his Chen on my shoulder, " you both are stupid" i say "harry will be down soon set the table" i say to james as i turn my head to look at him "sure" he reples and gives me a kiss before letting go and walking into the dinning room. " he makes you happy right" say Sirius " yea" i respond smilling " Im gald you guys finnly relized you where made for each other " he says "whos made for eachother " askes Harry walking into the kitchen " your godfather and food" i say and harry laughes " hey reg are going to miss me when i leave " Harry askes after hes done laughing , and at that surius dcieds to go into the dinning room do give us space " off couse kid, why would you even aske that" i say suriusly " becoause im the resoan your life feel aprt" he says looking down at the floor " no your not, your the reason my life has meaning" i say to him a " reg would it bother you if i called you dad" he askes and i look at him and say "what" " its ok if you dont want me too, i was just thinking that i used to when i was younger and then it became reg when i was like six but your like a second dad to me and i love you like a dad " Harry rambles "harry you can call me what ever you want, but i would be honerd for you to call me dad" i say giving him a big hug, he says "ok" and walks back into the dinner room while i stand there shocked, its true from when harry first started talking until he was like six i was dad but around six it became reg, and i never qousedned it, at tht time me and James weren't together not that harry knows we are now but, thats not the point, its that I've missed being a dad to him. he's the closes thing to a kid I will ever have and in my eyes he is mine, we may not share the same last name and he may not look like me but he's mine, I and his dad are all he's even know and I'm proud of what he's becoming. james walks back into the kitchen " hey what's wrong" he asks "Harry just asked if he could call me dad" " oh he finally asked he had asked me if I was ok with it a few weeks ago before he got his letter" " I never thought he'd want to call me that again "I say " are you ok with it " James asks "am I ok with it James this is probably the best day of my life" I say smiling "I'm glad to know the day we got together doesn't rate" he says sarcstecly " oh shut up you dick" I say lighting " come on harry won't eat until we're all sitting down he says this is last family breakfast before he leaves" "ok" I respond following James into the dining room
