Chapter 2 -Bet

Lexi's POV

I totally forget the she is still in this school.

"If it isn't our beautiful Lexi"

"What do you want?"

"I came to invite you to my birthday party this weekend at 7:30 pm."

"And why would I come?"

"Just inviting a friend to party and I thought you could invite that hot new kid of our so you could introduce me. "she said waving her hair as if she is the queen of England

"There is no way I'm introducing Alex to you."

"Such as hot name. Let's make a bet."

"What bet?"

"Who will make him fall in love first, you or me?"

"And why will I make such a bet with you? " I crossed my arms on my chest getting bored talking to her

"Why?Are you afraid I will take your crush away from you"she said with pouted lips

"Fine,we have a deal,no dirty games.Now out of my way I don't think I can breathe the same air as you any longer." I push past her and walk to class.
How I wish I could pull that witch's hair and pull her eyes out of their sockets stupid bitch!

Alex's POV

It real so good to be back home, meeting old friends especially Lexi.
She was the only person who was there for me since my parents told I couldn't have friends because I'm a vampire and couldn't use my powers.

I remember when I was 5 some kids were bullying because I was shy.

Flashback

"Hey Alex "said Perrier

"Go away"I told him

"Come on, don't push your friends away, plus we are your only friends right?"he and his friends started laughing

" I don't want I mean looking bully to be my friend, go away!"

"How dare you talk to me like that?!"

Then he and his friends took my candy from me and started kicking me.

"Hey!"A girl said.

Then she started throwing rokes all the boys stared screaming and running to there homes ,the girl came and stretch her hand

"Get up" she said

"Thank you"I said

"I'm Lexi"

"I'm Alex"

Flashback back end

And since then we became best of friends.

Right now it was lunch time and I  was look for Lexi or Alicia or Hazel and let me tell you those girls are crazy, when Lexi left for class they told me everything from what teacher to avoid,the popular kids,the nerds,the student body, the weirdos and even their shoe size!! But I must say they are really nice people,cool and crazy at the same time.

" Hey Alex!"I turn and saw Lexi waving at me. I started walking to her table when a girl stopped in front of me

"Hi I'm Drika, I'm the cheerleading captain" she said so she was the witch the girls told me about.

Her face was loaded with makeup, big red lips which made her look like a zombie,I wonder how the people  here are not dead looking at her face all this time I just Thank God

"I'm Alex"

"So, I'm having a birthday party this weekend at 7:30 pm I hope you will come"

"I will see if I can make it"  which was I a lie , how can I attend her party is either I die seeing her face or the girls kill me , I think the girls killing me is a better idea.

"I hope you make it"she said winking

I think I will have a nightmare tonight, shaking my head I went to the girls table

"Hi girls" I said

"What did she want?"Hazel asked

"Who?"I asked 

"Dirka."

"She invited me to her birthday party this weekend and I told her I'm not sure if I will come."

"You should go" Lexi said

"Why?" I asked

"I'm going too,so it not bad if we go together right?"

"You are going"Alicia asked shock on her face

" Yh, She dared me to come and you how much I hate it we she dares me"

"That fair"Ali (Alicia) said

"So we going or not?"Lexi asked

"Why not?" I said

"Great, pick me up at 7:00 pm ok"

And I nodded my head ,then we talked about different stuff till the the bell rang

Oh and did I tell you? My 18 birthday is in a few weeks and I can't wait to meet MY MATE.
