"Hello, Mom," I answered my phone after seeing that it was my mother who's calling.

(Anak, I just want to ask you if you want to come with us. You know, your grandmother ask for a favor if we can stay in their place for two weeks.)

I sat down infront of my mini vanity mirror while listening to my Mom.

(So, me and your dad decided that we all should go together. Can you? I mean, is it okay if you leave your school?)

Napangiwi ako mula sa narinig, "I can't," malambing kong tugon at nagbuntong hininga. "I'm a college student, Mom. Attendance is very important, so I can't. And I'm graduating so... ahm I hope you understand."

(I understand, anak, nagbaka-sakali lang naman ako. So, it' just me, your dad and your brother.)

"Yes, Mom. You don't have to worry about me. I can come to Tita Georgia's house and I can ask them for help if I need something," tukoy ko sa Mother ni Happy. Mom's know her since they're schoolmate way back in college.

(Oh, good to hear. But don't forget to update me, ha. We can still send you money, just ask, okay?)

I smiled while nodding my head as if my Mom can see me.

"Aha, take care there, Mom. Message me when you arrive at Lola's place."

(I will, I love you, anak.)

"Hmm, I love you too, Mom."

I ended the call after saying goodbye. Inilapag ko ang aking cellphone sa lamesa at ibinaling ang tingin sa salamin.

I actually want to come with them, but in my situation, I can't. Nakatira si Lola sa siyudad, originally, si Daddy talaga ang taga-rito sa Isla Gallera while Mom is from the City. At dahil si Daddy ang lalaki, kailangan niyang tangayin si Mommy. Hindi pwede na si Mommy ang magbahay kay Daddy.

I'm in my dorm now, getting ready to sleep since I still have class tomorrow.

My phone beep signaling me that I received a message.

It's from my Dad.

From: Daddy :3
I heard from ur mom that u cant come.
Take care of ur self.

Tumayo na ako mula sa pagkakaupo at dumiretso na sa aking kama. I sent a reply to Dad's message before laying down.

I just put my phone beside me and stare at the ceiling.

My phone beep again and look at it.

Napaupo ako bigla nang makitang it's a notification from Facebook.

Kent Gaming is in Live now.

Tiningnan ko ang oras, it say's 11:58. Why is he playing at this hour when he also have class tomorrow.

But then, I just saw my self watching his live, he's playing mobile legends. I know who is his main hero, it's Ling an assassin.

Before, I tried playing mobile legends and got addicted on it so I decided to stop. It's not really good for me, my temper is already short and it got shorter because of that game.

I'm still watching his live, hindi ko na napansin ang oras. Sinubaybayan ko ang live niya hanggang sa makatulugan ko na ang panonood.

A loud ring woke me up. I opened my eyes to close it again when the sun reflects on my face.

"Ahh, shit," mahinang mura ko nang maramdaman ang paghapdi ng aking mata. Itinakip ko ang makapal na kumot sa aking mukha at ipinikit nang mariin ang aking mata.
