Chapter 6

Marcy couldn't sleep. She was awake, laying in her bed. The weird thing was, she didn't have a headache that was keeping her up. 

"C'mon Marcy, we know you're bored. Why don'tcha just talk to us?"

Oh right. That's why she was awake. 

'No' She thought back, 'I'll stay awake all night rather than talk to you.'

"Ouch, what happened to our sweet little Mar Mar?"

'You'

"..."

Marcy sighed, rolling over on her other side, checking the time on her phone. 12:03 AM.

Marcy groaned, pushing her head into her pillow. 'Fine'

"We knew you'd come around! Now first, let's talk about how we are gonna destroy the world, shall we?"

'Nevermind'

The core let out something that sounded between a chuckle and a cackle, "We were just joking Marbles, you're so dull."

'Well, I'm exhausted.'

"Well then get some sleep, oh wait, YOU CAN'T!"

'That's not funny.'

"Too soon? Okay."

Marcy rolled over once more. She sighed before reaching for her phone, checking the group chat.

Mar Mar: I can't sleep, are either of you awake?"

She stared at the screen, and surprisingly, she got a response.

Anna-Banana: I am, I dunno abt Sash although. 

Mar Mar: I just need someone to talk to.

'Other than the core' She thought.

"Aww? Aren't we good company?" 

Marcy ignored them.

Anna-Banana: What's up Marce? Headaches keeping you up?

Mar Mar: For once, no

Anna-Banana: It's a miracle!

Marcy chuckled.

Mar Mar: Yea! Why are you up?

Anna-Banana: I lost track of time :P

Mar Mar: Of course, classic Anne

Anna-Banana: What is that supposed to mean?

Mar Mar: ...

Mar Mar: Look at the time! I better go!

Anne Banana: Marcy Regina Wu!

Marcy chuckled as Anne used her full name. Her face heated up as she let out a sigh. She had been aware that she had a crush on Anne and Sasha for a while.

"Ugh.

'What?'

"I'm drowning in all your gay thoughts."

'You deserve it'
