London was following Sage all around the house that morning while she cleaned and hung the Christmas decorations. For some reason, she was in a productive cleaning mood. "Baby I'm not in the mood to argue just listen to me. Hear my reasons why" he stood there looking over Sage's body language. She stopped wiping the counters down "Okay I'm listening" Sage stood there with her hands on her hips. She looked so cute with her tummy hanging out of her pajamas

"You're 39 weeks now Boog, you can't be working like that. I want you to relax and rest until the twins get here" he poured himself something to drink. "London I'm just trying to follow up with my last few patients at the hospital before I discharge them because after tomorrow I'm taking leave" She held her stomach in discomfort because she felt a slight pain

"See, look at you!" London rushed over to her "Is it time? What do I do? Should I call my auntie Mia?" London panicked. "No crazy" Sage laughed "I'm probably just hungry" she shrugged. Truthfully Sage's whole body was in pain but that had become normal to her. "Yea iight tough guy" London leaned down to kiss her mouth "Baby I need you to go pick up my order from Target" Sage wrapped her arms around London and then looked up at him. "It's for you or my babies?" He looked down at her. "I ordered new bottle warmers for nighttime feedings. And before you start we needed them I returned the old ones after reading the reviews" Sage walked over to the Keurig coffee machine

"And I ordered more Christmas decorations for the house. I wanna finish decorating by the end of the week" she popped a kcup in the machine. "You don't listen I thought you couldn't drink coffee" London fussed. "Actually it's okay to have 1 cup a day. Please leave me the hell alone" she fussed as she continued to make her coffee. "I'ma go pick up the order real quick, send the barcode to my phone" he started putting on his jacket, hat, and scarf it was freezing outside 9degrees. "Okay call me on the way back I'm hungry I might want pizza and crab legs" she fixed his beanie so that it covered his ears before he walked out the door into the cold

Sage continued to clean the downstairs of their home before she moved upstairs. After she finished cleaning the bedroom she had to pee so bad so, she used the bathroom. When she was done she wiped herself and mucus-looking stuff came out onto the tissue. She shrugged it off then pulled her pants up to finish cleaning so she could run herself a warm bath for her body aches.

Sage felt so weak and tired that she laid down in the bed for what she thought was a minute. 2hours into her nap she was woken up from her sleep by slight discomfort in her lower back. She took her time getting up from the comfortable bed she wanted to run herself a warm bath to soothe her muscles. She lit the fireplace across from the tub before she started running her warm water.

She undressed and then dipped her body into the water she sighed in relief. She pulled out her phone and then checked the time it read 6 pm she couldn't figure out where the hell did London go for her order Miami? She called him and he answered on the 2nd ring "Relax Ma, I'm down the street" he immediately said into the phone. She paused to grimace at the pain she was experiencing. "Okay" was all she said before she hung up the pain was getting stronger and faster.

Sage sat up in the bathtub she had to concentrate that's how bad the pain was. She was breathing slowly and deeply. She was relieved when she had London's heavy boots coming up the stairs. "Ayo Babe Kacey sent me with some food for you!" He yelled out from their closet. She didn't respond but he heard low cries coming from the bathroom. "Babe? Everything okay in there?" He walked towards the bathroom door, but she still didn't answer him

He cracked the door and Sage was leaning back in the bathtub crying. "What's wrong?" He questioned "I think it's time to call your aunt... NOW!" Sage screamed. That sent London into full-on panic mode, he fumbled for his phone to call Mia and then his mother to tell them it was time.

His aunt Mia was Sage's midwife and planned on walking her through at-home water birth. Luckily for Sage and London, his aunt didn't live too far from them. "Auntie Mimi I think it's happening idk what to do?!" London was visibly shaking. "Toot listen to me, I need you to calm down I'm 15 minutes away. I might need you to deliver the first baby until we get there" she coached London. "But I can't!" He yelled

Sage was crying out in pain "London this hurts so baddd" she cried out as she got on all fours in the warm bath water because that was the most comfortable position. London put his aunt on speaker phone and she walked him through delivering the first twin. Sage was rocking back and forth on her knees while rubbing her stomach. London rubbed her back "You got this Baby, push for me" he coaxed her.

Sage leaned forward on all fours and pushed. London's eyes lit up because the baby's head was crowning. "That's it Baby keep going" he encouraged. "I can't!!!" Sage started shaking her head. "Toot put your hand in the water to check and see how far out the baby is" Mia talked him through she was 5 minutes away now.

London did as told and then repeated to his aunt what he felt. "Keep going she's almost there" Mia calmly spoke. "Baby girl one more push" he rubbed her back in circular motions. Sage leaned forward and let out a loud murderous scream while she pushed. The first twin came out, London was in shock he had never in his life experienced something so magical.

He hadn't noticed but he had tears in his eyes as he put the baby on Sage's chest. Mia finally came flying into the bathroom to check on the baby and Sage. Mia laid the baby's belly down on Sage's forearm, and firmly but gently tapped the baby's upper back with the palm of her hand. The baby started crying, ensuring that the baby's lungs were working properly.

Sage was exhausted but happy. London held the baby up "It's a boy" he smirked "My boy" he held the baby close to his chest Mia made him take off his shirt so he could have skin-to-skin with the baby.

While London and Sage were enjoying the birth of the first twin counting every finger and toe Mia and her assistants for the day Moriah and Toi started setting up for the second twin to be delivered. Sage sat straight up in the tub moaning out in pain again. "No London I can't..." Sage screamed out "I can't do it again" she begged and screamed.

"You have to Baby Tatum wants to meet his sister" London coaxed her "Come on baby we could do this" he looked down at his sleeping son. "We?! Nigga I'm the one doing all the work" Sage fussed before she leaned back into the tub and then started pushing. After an hour of crying and pushing Sage gave birth to Saniyah.

When she finished delivering the twins and placentas London helped clean her up and then carried her to their bed. While he was doing that Toi, Mia, and Moriah cleaned the twins up and made them each comfortable in their bassinets for the night.

Sage was in bed passed out sleeping already you would've thought she just had the fight of her life. London thanked his aunt, mother, and cousin for everything before they left for the night so the couple could get settled in with the twin. After everyone left London prepared things for Tatum and Saniyah's first feeding when they woke up. Then he passed out right next to Sage on the bed.

This day did not go how London or Sage expected nonetheless they were happy their twins were born healthy and happy. It was like an early Christmas gift for them.
