You are Shockwave's sparkmate. You were both stranded on Cybertron and are completing Project Predacon together, but you're expecting.

Silence enveloped the room while I worked. Just how I liked it.
I carefully tipped the beaker in my servo, watching the green liquid pour into another that contained a blue solution. Once it was all in, I gently mixed the concoction before setting it off to the side and moving on.
While reading what I needed for the next part, without even noticing, my servo subconsciously drifted down to my stomach and rested on the small bulge that had started to appear over the months.
I looked down and smiled, rubbing it and feeling a small kick in return. The sparkling had started becoming really active now, signs they were almost ready to be born.
The door behind me opened and a set of footsteps came in, followed by what sounded like multiple. I didn't even turn or flinch when an arm wrapped around me and something rested on my shoulder, looking down at my work.
'I take it you are having no trouble with this?' Shockwave asked. I smiled as laid my helm against his, 'Since when have I ever?' I joked. Predaking then came over and nudged his giant helm under my arm, whining as he felt left out.
I chuckled and scratched him behind where his ears were, making him purr and close his optics in contentment. I then took my sparkmates servo and held it, pressing it against my stomach so he could feel the kicking as well.
'A few days now.' I whispered. He nodded, transfixed by what he felt, 'If it is that soon, I suggest you halt your work for now until after they are born. It would be illogical for you to put too much strain on yourself.'
'It would be illogical for you to pester me with things I already know.' I countered. 'I am merely being cautious.' He said. He then withdrew the servo and placed it on my shoulder.
'I found a new unit of untouched energon.' He said, 'I shall go retrieve it but I expect you to be lying down by the time I get back.' I rolled my optics but smiled, 'Yeah yeah,' I said and kissed the side of his helm, 'Just don't be too long.'
Having no mouth, he pressed the tip of his helm against mine, a gesture we used to make up for a kiss. 'Look after her.' He spoke to Predaking before walking out the door. The dragon huffed on the floor next to me, looking at my belly with curious optics. He gave a small chirp and gently nudged my side.
'It's a sparkling.' I told him, 'It'll probably be a mini version of me or Shocky. Or both of us.' He purred and tilted his helm so he could hear better. I gently ran my digits along the metal, 'You can probably hear them can't you?' I asked.
I already knew the answer though after all, Predaking had been made by my sparkmate and me. We'd both worked towards and then raised him from the moment he stepped out of his incubation tank. He was almost already like a child if he didn't act more like a dog most of the time.
'What would you like?' I asked, 'A little mech or femme?' He chittered and rubbed his helm against my stomach, making me giggle, 'You probably don't care.' I said, 'You just want someone to play with.'
He nodded in agreement and lay his helm down by my pedes, his body and tail curling protectively around the chair I was sitting in. I smiled and returned to my work, wanting to finish up what I was doing before I went and lay down.
As I did, my optics continuously flickered toward the clock on my desk as I anxiously awaited Shockwave's return. Even though these trips were necessary, I found myself getting scared the closer we got to the delivery day. Of course, I trusted him but it was always my worst fear he'd be halfway across the planet when I needed him.
