You stifle a laugh watching Meliodas get pounded into the ground by Diane. Her anger and jealousy incredibly visible in her eyes as she pants. Her clothes ripped and torn from the fight with Howzer and her hair slightly messy.
"'Matrona has started things off with a ferocious preemptive strike!" Love Helm announces as Meliodas sits up on his knees. Diane tries to punch him again but Meliodas moves back slightly putting his hands up in defence trying to explain that he had no clue who those girls were.
Ban was chuckling behind you as you roll your eyes with a slight giggle. Diane tries punching Meliodas again but he moves out the way and the force sent wind flying in Howzer's, Cain's and Taizoo's direction. Meliodas jumps back his clothes also completely torn and ripped. They both throwing punches to each other with immense strength cause the ground to shake and the huge rock to crack underneath you all
Diane knees Meliodas in the stomach and Meliodas sends a punch to Diane's face. Diane yells as she punches Meliodas's arm as Meliodas blocked it. Ban still giggling to himself as you furrow your brows confused on why the two remained frozen. There faces dark with a shadow covering there eyes. You felt Ban tighten his grip around you and you looked up to see him with a serious expression on his face as well as the other sins.
"Did those two strain themselves so hard, they peed their pants or something?" Hawk questions
"I don't kn—hey, what are you doing!?" You cut yourself off to ask Ban why he was pushing you into the ring. He didn't answer nor even spare you a glance. You looked back at Hawk and Elizabeth to see them looking at you concerned.
Meliodas, Diane, King, Ban and you now stood in the centre of the ring you trying to squirm out of Ban's grip but when you eventually got out Meliodas grabbed your wrist painfully tightly and pulled you to his side. You heard a low growl from Ban but ignored it as you were still confused on what was happening.
"My real identity is Captain of the Seven Deadly Sins. I'm Meliodas, the Dragon sin! We're taking over Vaizel, everything here belongs to us now!" Meliodas announces as his grip tightens more making you yelp a bit in pain
"'Mel, what the hell are you doing?" You whisper yell at him but he doesn't spare you a glance. His face shows visible anger as he looks ahead.
"I'm giving you less than one minute to clean out this town! Understand? If you don't, we're gonna kill you all!" Meliodas threatens making your eyes widen and your body start to shake a bit out of the unexpected mood change. Meliodas raises his unoccupied hand showing one finger to indicate 'one minute'
"You're not fooling anyone, you brat!"
"What he said, you don't look a thing like 'em!"
"Wait, given how strong they are, it just might be true..."
The crowd bickers as you turn to all of them trying to pull against Meliodas's grip as it tightens with each comment.
"Get the hell out of here!" Meliodas yells loudly making the crowd gasp loudly and you to pull more harshly but to no avail.
"Hey, what's that!?" A man in the crowd shouts pointing to the sky. You stop pulling and look up scanning the sky to see large fireballs being shot down in Vaizel. Meliodas threw you into Ban who wraps his arm around your waist firmly, you rub your wrist due to pain Meliodas gave you from his tight grip. You look up to see Meliodas reflect the attack back using his full counter.
"Damn, they're here already?" Meliodas mumbles as you stop squirming in Ban's grip
"That equipment's sacred treasure class." King states in his large form
"It sure is. I bet Guila's gotten a lot stronger than she was in the Necropolis and we have Preston to look out for too. He seems to be working with them for his own desire. What's worse there's four this time. Let's split up for now. Ban give me Y/n. It's best if she stays with me" Meliodas orders looking towards you and Ban
"I'm more than capable of protecting Y/n from this Preston guy." Ban protests bitterly as Meliodas grew impatient
"We don't have time. I know Preston's abilities. He's insanely strong. He was barely using his full ability in the ring with Y/n and the power we felt was strong. Give her to me now." Meliodas orders once more but this time more stern making you swallow a lump in your throat
"Fine, I better get her back after this." Ban sighs letting go of you and softly pushing you towards Meliodas
"Can't I stay with Master..." You mumble but they didn't respond. Meliodas grabbed your hand interlocking your fingers to make sure he has a good grip and jumps off while you grab onto his arm with your other hand out of instinct and reflex.
You are now stood by Meliodas's side regretting that you left your Katana in the tavern. You groaned looking ahead to see Guila standing there with Preston beside her swinging on his heel as he stares lovingly at you.
"Hello, my love!" He greets with a cheery smile
"Gross" You murmur making him frown. You smile sarcastically and he goes back to grinning from ear to ear. Meliodas hasn't let go of your hand as he glares between Guila and Preston
"It's been a while now, Meliodas and Y/n." Guila greets as Meliodas goes back to his normal expression
"Oh, hey there, Guila! What brings you here today?" Meliodas questions calmly
"I've learned a lot since our battle of the Necropolis. I'm here today for a review session of sorts. And he's here for Y/n L/n." Guila says making you shiver at the last sentence
"So he's here for forced love and your here for revenge. Isn't that what you really mean? Okay. No biggie. I'll take you both on." Meliodas shrugs
"I doubt that. You're no longer much of a challenge." Guila doubts as she pulls on her sword sending small fire balls that surrounded the both of you. You edged closer to Meliodas trying not to trigger them.
"If we get careless and touch those things, i'm guessing they'll explode on us. It's a hassle but i'll get rid of them one by one." Meliodas mumbles looking around
"They'll explode on their own, it doesn't matter how careful you both are. The first explosion will cause a second to trigger, which will set off a chain reaction trapping the target in a cage of flames. Chain explosion." Guila informs as you and Meliodas get blasted around. Your hand slipped out of his as you both groaned and grunted in pain getting sent further into the air due to the painful explosions. Your clothes getting torn and burnt as well as your skin getting burned
"Don't worry, my dear...once we deal with these pests i'll make sure to get an icepack for your wounds!" Preston shouts up sending a purple flame into the chain explosion making the blasts more painful for both you and Meliodas making you both yell in pain.
You both get sent flying. You smash into another person's back and Meliodas smashes into your front making you groan more. You fall to the ground as well as the other 2 smashing into the ground with a loud thud sending particles everywhere.
You felt yourself laying on someone and you slowly opened your eyes to see Ban who seemed incredibly injured. Your eyes widened and you picked yourself up off the ground and onto your feet.
"Ooh, fun! Y/n still has fight in her." Preston cheers
"Don't even have a sword." You grumble under your breath. You felt someone weakly gripping your ankle. You look down to see Ban
"Y/n, don't you dare." Ban coughs but you ignore him and shake your ankle so his hand plops beside you
"This won't take too much of our time." Guila mumbles as Jericho, Guila and Preston stood ahead of you preparing to fight.
