"Ugh, fine. I guess I'll just keep up with you until she comes back."

When I awoke the next morning, I was in the dark. The curtains weren't drawn by my companion as usual, leaving everything dim.
I pulled myself out of bed and sluggishly got dressed, simply putting on different bottoms instead of my sleep ones and a coat. Putting on my boots, I walked outside and was promptly blinded by the reflection of the sun on snow.
Making my way into town, I bumped into someone.
"Oh! Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry!" It was the human girl, Luz, she helped me up while apologizing.
"It's okay! I wasn't watching where I was going." I said to her, taking her hand and pulling myself off the ground.
"If you're headed to the market streets, they're closed today. Terry said it's cause theres so much snow it won't draw in customers."
"Ah, okay. Thanks." I dusted the snow off me. Luz stifled a laugh. "I'm probably just gonna wander around then. You wanna come?"
"Oh! Sure!" She smiled.
The two of us wandered around the Isles for hours. Making jokes and causing shenanigans. Luz and I eventually ran into two of her friends from school.
The human approached them happily, me following behind her.
"Hey guys! This is (Y/N) (L/N)!" She said, making a grand gesture to me. I gave a grin in return.
"You can just call me (Y/N) or a nickname."
A deep green haired girl smiled at me. "The name's Willow Park."
"And I'm Gus Porter! Pleasure to meet you." The younger boy beside Willow introduced himself.
The four of us talked and roamed the town for hours, pulling small pranks and running from coven scouts. Her friends were fun.
"Oh!" Gus piped up, showing us his Penstagram feed. "Bonesborough is having a dance tomorrow night!"
"Ooo!" Luz cooed, taking the scroll carefully into her hands and reading it through. "Join us at Bonesborough Annual Winter Dance. Formal dress code with cool color pallets. Snacks and drinks provided. Come dance the night away with us."
"Oh! Its the beginning for the winter festival!" She added, handing Gus his device back.
"Speaking of Penstagrams," Willow said, turning to me. "Can we get yours?"
"Oh, yeah. Its '(insert)'." My phone pinged with friend notifications.
"I'll add you once I get back home, I have to use Eda's scroll." Luz said.
"You can just log into the account, here." I handed her my Penstagram and she took it, pushing buttons.
"Hey, you got a notification."
"What is it?" I asked her.
She read it aloud. "Reminder: Look for (P/N). Confront Gold about the meeting with Belos."
