Dear Readers,

fyi this story was edited on June 14th 2023. It was a Pedro fic before, now I changed it to a Joel Miller AU fic. I thought about changing Millie's name (because it's similar to Miller) but then decided to keep it. Because I can't think of another name that fits her like Millie does. She only calls him Mr. Miller at first anyway, then Joel after that :)

24-year-old college student Milena "Millie" Gonzalez is returning to college after summer vacation. Before the first lecture she wanted to meet her professor Mrs. Gilbert, like she always did, because Millie has been a teacher's assistant since the start of college.
