"So uh, this is the armory, we keep our cool ass weapons here,"

The armory was a semi-open area, crates of weapons parts and ammo were scattered about everywhere. The Mortars face dropped at who he saw and who had just saw them,

"Well, if it ain't lil' ol' Mort!" The Engineer gave him a teasing close-eyed smile,

"We're leaving." The Mortar immediately took Sledger's hand before dragging him towards the door. The Engineer immediately blocked the entrance,

"-Hey! Don't you want to see the progress I've made on this guys-" She gestured to Sledger, "-hammer?"

"No." The Mortar deadpanned, still trying to get out of the armory,

"..I do…" The Sledger quietly murmured. The Mortar paused in his steps, and looked up to Sledger, who simply stared at him. Although he couldn't tell what expression the taller tower had under that gear he could tell he was silently pleading. So, with a groan, Mortar gave in,

"Uggghh…" He groaned before looking up to Engineer now, "Fine- but I'm only staying for him," He jabbed his thumb in Sledgers direction.

Both Sledger and Engineer perked up at that reply. Engineer immediately grabbed Sledger,

"Wellll, good to have you on board, buddy, now, if I may take over," She immediately left Mortar in the dust, who complained before rushing up to the two,

"First you steal my gear- now you steal my entourage!" The Mortar shouted as he caught up to them, to which the Sledger gave him an awkward shrug. The Engineer leaned over and flicked him on the forehead,

"C'mon, Mort, you and I both know you can't own people-"

"That doesn't excuse my gear!"

"It was an emergency, we're part of a team, might as well share!"

"Uh-" The Sledgers voice tried to cut in,

"Ohh, you wanna share!? Then how's about-" The Mortars eyes scanned the room, before his face took a menacing expression, "Then how's about you share this-!?" He immediately rushed to her workbench, picking up her wrench, which had been set to the side of one of her turrets. The Engineers eyes went wide at this,

"Uhh.. Mort, you might want t' put that down…" Her eyes darted from him to elsewhere

"...or what?-" He held the wrench in a nonchalant manner, swinging it from hand to hand, "-it's just a wrench-"

"Thief detected, initiating defense protocols."

"Wait wh-"

Before he knew it, Sledger was dragged along with Engineer who tackled the once-boastful Mortar to the ground as bullets pelleted the wall where he had stood just before. A table was tossed on its side in the ruckus, the Engineer using it to cover the group. The Mortar looked up from Engineers grasp to the victimized wall. Fear settled in his expression,

"Oh!"

"Damn it, Mortar! Give me that thing-" She swiped the wrench from his unsuspecting hands,

"Alrighty, gang, this is where I need your help.. Distract that thing!" She shouted, throwing the two men in harms way. The Mortar yelped as the sentry turned towards him-

"Target spotted."

-that was until he hid behind a crate. His eyes widened, seeing a certain Sledger, who out of his fight or flight options had chosen to freeze, laying on his side. The sentry turned towards Sledger still form, the Mortar shouted his name,
