A Humble Prayer
VERSE 1
Lord God, please keep me safe
Within your gentle embrace
The storms, the flames, and the pouring rain
Fail to separate me from Your grace
For I know that there will come a day
When every sorrow will fade.
VERSE 2
Please do not leave me on my own
In this world so evil and cold
Your heart of pure gold
Melts me deep in the soul
Even during the times that I feel low
My love for You will never freeze like a floe.
VERSE 3
O, You are the only One
You are the only reason
Why I am eager to see the sun
And so I render my praises to You, my God
Any tribulation I will face head-on
With Your help, I can remain strong.
